Huh? Did you get an F in junior high science class? Are you not aware of the law of conservation of matter and energy?

Ah, so you did fail junior high science. That explains it then.

Do you seriously think the entire Universe and it's Creator care?

You would need to prove the existence of this creator, before you can assert it created the universe. Good luck.

You really should go back and try junior high science again. This time pay attention, and read your textbook.

Actually.. I don't need to prove squat.

You're the one that needs to prove the Universe is either some Godlike "omnipresent" entity or that it created itself from nothingness.

    Good luck

There is serious evidence that this universe started with the expansion of something near to being a point source of gigantic energy.

But, we don't know much of ANYTHING about the environment in which that happened.

Was our big bang the result of a previous universe that collapsed (like we once thought our universe might end)?

Again, there are questions that today's humans can not answer definitively.

The knowledge of mankind is limited. We have to face that fact with humility. The most we can do is strive to figure out how things work - a goal toward which the Bible says we may progress by observing the world around us.

Fabricating a "god did it" answer, ignoring all evidence and claiming to be above all others, in fact claiming to know god's purpose is not something the god of the bible confers on humans.

In fact, it is the sin of the prideful who claim the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

    And, THAT was original sin.

I don't think I got God, I got the writers who claimed that God did things that we know from science aren't possible. Science has answers and here are some objective facts that science has found. The development of life took billions of years not days, night and day only exist with the sun and not before, reptiles (land animals) evolved before birds not the next day, and humans gradually evolved from apes not from an inbred family of the two first humans. There is a mountain of evidence to support these facts and the bible is just wrong on them.

A previous universe didn't create itself either.

And there is no evidence at all to suggest it.

    Just speculation.

if you make a positive assertion, that the universe was created by your god, you absolutely have to prove it exists first.
why do you intentionally post things you know aren't true? you were corrected on this already. NOBODY in science says the universe created itself.

don't need luck. your position is indefensible.

Exactly - at this time humans have little evidence of the environment and events that spawned our universe.

    THAT is the point.

Given that lack of evidence humans should be cautious about making grand statements about how our universe emerged.

However, we do have concrete evidence that begins an incredibly short time AFTER the beginning of the expansion of the universe.

One of the great mysteries of science. No doubt.
