Nazi's period is a general problem. There are probably over 3,000 nazi's in both USA and Germany alone. That has ZERO representation of the Ukraine as a country nor its people. You get it yet?

 

I get you're trying to side-step the issue. No one in USA or Germany have petitioned the UN to investigate possible ethnic cleansing by their local Nazis. And where are you getting your numbers? Cuz it seems like you're just guessing (making them up)...

Who has been killing whom in Donbas? That area has been under armed dispute since Putin invaded in 2014. Russian troops have been making trouble there ever since.

The Donbas is a heavily industrialized region, with major coal mining since the 19th century. Putin wants it for that reason, primarily. He wants Ukraine to be dependent upon Russia for its energy needs. Also, one of the major pipelines carrying Russian oil runs right through that region. Putin naturally wants to control that, and only Ukrainian resistance keeps him from it. If you really want to know more about the region, start here:

I highly recommend the section about modern, independent Ukraine, 1991 to 2014. The people there have long considered themselves to be Ukrainians, not Russians, and voted overwhelmingly for independence.

The bit about his wanting to "rescue" Russian-speaking Ukrainians from "abuse" is the same tactic Hitler used to justify his invasion of Poland.

 

What you cannot seem to comprehend is that a few nazi's in Ukraine DOES NOT REPRESENT the entire country of 44 million people just like you are "probably" not a White supremacists as the 450 white organizations do not represent the USA. How freaking hard is that to comprehend. Unless, you are completely brainwashed whenever your favorite media outlet which surely must be of Russian origin says, "due to some nazi's in Eastern Ukraine, the entire nation has been nazified!"
