Well said….. and I strongly tend to agree.

AboveAlpha… I would be extremely interested in your assessment of a theory that I first ran into back in 1994 that I have came to believe is a significant part of the problem as well?

Is it historically accurate that monetary policy was central to American Revolution?
I am wondering if the following article is basically accurate or largely inaccurate historically?

But……… it sure does seem that President Bush's gambit to keep oil prices stable and low….. is paying off now in 2014?!

The time could also come when we give President Bush credit for NOT negating the Global Dimming Effect?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/humor...2000-election-but-negates-global-dimming.html
In alternate time line Mr. Gore wins the 2000 election but negates Global Dimming....

I personally loved the film "An Inconvenient Truth." I have watched it four or five times at least. It played a huge role in my deciding to join a political party that takes climate change very seriously.

Largely due to his film I actually put in two submissions for The Virgin Earth Challenge.

I do have one criticism for his film though..... the diplomacy quotient was extremely low and America is more divided than ever partly because of the flavor of his film.

    ….
….In theory....... Mr. Gore's policy could have ended up greatly decreasing the Global Dimming Effect..... at the same time that it might do little to reduce a general Global Warming trend.... which could lead to rapid warming.....and of course increased cracking and sliding on the land based Greenland Ice Pack.... the world's glaciers and the outer regions of Antarctica......

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and President Bush may have deliberately allowed somewhat bad policy to continue...… because they probably had been told that the factors that increase Global Dimming..... do tend to mask Global Warming.... .which could mean within five decades we may know that that they may have had a basically good idea..... in comparison to worst possible alternative.....??????!!!

If tax rates remain the same and spending remains about the same as a percentage of GDP, which is more likely than not, the economy could grow at 10% a year for 10 years and the government would still run a deficit.
Why? Because almost all the economic growth will be captured in the form of capital gains, which are taxed at such a low rate that even at a 10% economic growth rate government revenue would increase at a far lower rate than spending, much of which is tied to the economy.

What is most probable is that the republicans will gain total control over the government in 2016, cut taxes on the wealthy and increase deficit spending just like they did in the 2000s. They will deregulate Wall Street, the economy will boom for a while and then collapse again and they will hand the reins over to the democrats and blame them for massive deficits just like they did after they got booted out in 2008.

It is a decrepit spiral of lies and deceit and every time it goes around the wealthy end up wealthier and everybody else is even more screwed than before. Someday the masses of stupid people who think the republicans care about the middle class might wise up and stop voting for them but I have my doubts. After all we have been through this exact same cycle three times since the 1970s and they keep voting them into office like they think it will be different this time, well it wont.

Although I am not Jewish I find your post....in which you exhibit the desire to be able to go back in time in order to effect change that would result in the eradication of an entire group of people numbering in the multiple millions to be....sad....and pitiful.

I can tell you do not have any experience as far as being involved in the death of another Human Being or the deaths of numerous Human Beings.

It is a horrible experience....and in my case I have witnesses and been a part in such things upon a level you could never understand.

You should really attempt to educate yourself to such things but one can never truly be fully educated to such things unless they have been apart of such horrific things.

More than anything else in the world....I wish I had never been apart of such things.

Not it doesn't. Would you have even voted republican if they hay been honest about fuel prices going up as a result of conflict in the Middle East, as a form of "hidden tax" or social bailout of the wealthiest capitalists, with the Peoples' Tax monies.
