Interesting Idea: PF Presidential Election 2012

Amidst sub-par Presidential candidates, and a sub-par President, I think a good experiment is to see who can come up with better solutions to pressing issues, we the people, or the politicians.

Therefore, I am interested in having a political forum Presidential election on this thread. Essentially, each interested person will have to provide a mission statement, a list of issues they will focus on if elected, and how they will solve those issues. The decision on who wins can be decided based upon a poll.

 

This reminds me of a similar thread I saw months ago. There would be a presidental election. It would be intreseting if we could get this idea of the ground...

And this idea is months old too, the credits we have accumlated and done nothing with, what if we used them in the campaigain somehow?

 

This is dumb. Stop trying to take attention from things that are more important, IE the real Presidential race. A "Forum President" holds no merit in the running of our country.

 

It's probably more meaningful than the actual presidential election, which is already paid for.

 

To like 3 people.

More people are concerned by real life.

 

I hope they have a sub forum for the 2012 elections.

Why would you pay attention to the presidential media circus if you were concerned by real life?

 

I want to utilize this as an experiment rather than a popularity contest. It would be interesting to see what issues average Americans find pressing, and whether they can concoct better solutions than politicians.

I dont pay attention to the media. I dont even own a TV. LOL
