Hey there everyone! I subscribe to the idea that politics is not a spectator sport. People who say that it is not polite to discuss politics seem to be missing the whole point of politics. If discussions of politics make people uncomfortable, it is because they have no desire to think beyond their own comfortable worlds. We should never back away from discussing important issues. I am always willing to have a political debate/discussion and it often elicits much eye rolling from my 2 grown children, and my one teenager, but they have grown used to it, and I like to think they are better people for having been raised to believe that it IS important to think about and discuss the big issues. I am a card carrying, tree hugging, bleeding heart member of the vast left wing conspiracy. I even know the secret handshake! Hoping to see some good debates, and also hoping that most on here also expend their energies outside the forum in an attempt to make the world a better place for everyone!
"Once more into the fray And to the last good fight I'll ever know Live and die on this day. Live and die on this day." The Grey (movie) Good start and with tornado in your name you can't go wrong despite your liberal beliefs.
Oh..you seem to have made a small error..you said despite, when you meant to say "especially with". Silly
Only when absolutely called for, and I very rarely break the skin. Getting blood out of clothes is such a nightmare. Usually all you need is a good sharp nip.
Well, it seems that you have brought your sense of humor with you. Do keep it with you at all times while you are here. You will need it.
Welcome. A broad! You could have written, "as it often elicits...." Vote for me this coming November - as your next President of The United States of America. +++
