Those arguements are relevant, but here's why I disagree with them, and my counterarguements.

It's too small of a risk to justify abortion.

How would a new child put them in jeopardy?

How do you know it's too small a risk?

My cousin had a high risk pregnancy and almost died from a c-section. Her baby girl unfortunately died 15 minutes after birth. You can't know something is high risk or low risk unless you're a doctor. A perfectly healthy pregnancy can go bad very, very fast. That is why these situations are left up to women and their doctors. They know their own health and bodies much better than you do.

A new child can put a poor family in jeopardy because that is another mouth to feed, another person to put resources towards and if they are already poor that simply may not be an option for them. Not to mention just having a baby can be upwards of $3000-$10,000 in hospital bills. A $200-$400 abortion is just more affordable.

Do you disagree with this statement as well? To force someone to do something against their wills is the epitome of a tyranny and completely undermines the foundation of freedom, liberty and self-determination.

A woman doesn't require a physical attachment inside another human being to survive.

One may argue that forcing something onto somebody (the fetus being aborted) against its will, is the epitome of tyranny and complete undermines the fetus's freedom, liberty, and self determination.

Perhaps, but you can also argue the exact opposite.

Therefore, that arguement isnt really valid, because it could be argued either way. Anything that could be argued either way is a very weak arguement at best.

Does a fetus have a conscious will?

Of course not. They don't "want" anything, because they have no conscious will.

Hardly. In this situation the woman is not imposing herself on the fetus at all, it is the fetus that is imposing itself onto her, although inadvertently. She still has a right to remove the unwanted entity from her body in self defense. The fetus has no right to use her body and the state has no right to force her to sacrifice her body to keep it alive.

considering it is the fetus that is there without consent, the woman is not forcing something onto someone else she is protecting herself from injury just as any other person can do.

Yes she is. She is putting her selfish needs above the fetus. The fetus is innocent and its rights are more important than her selfish desires.

Many lawyers have argued pregnancy is not an injury.

You are assuming pregnancy is an injury, which is debatable.

It would seem that you are wrong on this one which is why in our free and secular society Roe v Wade prevails.

Whether or not abortion is a constitutional right depends on your views of abortion and the Constitution. It could be argued either way.

I would say in a free Republic and secular society the person whose body is being infringed upon has the right to remove that which or whomever is infringing on them. If enough force to kill said entity or person is the only option then so be it.

Sam, so many babies are born every single day, thousands and thousands and thousands. At the rate we're going our planet is going to suffocate and our resources will be used up before we're even able to replace them with renewable ones. I am sorry but I just don't understand your need, or any lifers need to strip women of their rights to their bodies to ensure that another baby is born in poverty and suffers in our incredibly screwed up world.

What is so wrong with women having babies when they are ready for them and WANT them? What is wrong with having an abortion now and waiting until later in life to have a family? I just *sigh* I really just don't get it. Please, look at the bigger picture here. There are 7.5 billion people on this planet now and GROWING. Look at China that literally has half the world's population in their country alone. Look at their skies, oh wait you can't because they're covered in smog! Look at the videos of children being run over in streets and no one doing a damn thing about it. Look at the children starving to death every single day because their parents had to have them and now they can't afford to feed them. It's horrible. It's awful. Why do people promote this? Just constant population growth, for what? More death, more poverty and more suffering for the young and fragile? What is the point of it all? At least with an abortion the baby won't live and suffer a miserable life and die a short and sad life. I just...I can't wrap my head around it. I'm sorry I just can't.

I see nothing wrong with promoting women choosing to have children when they are ready, with allowing them to abort, and with trying to reduce the number of needed abortions at the same time. Have a baby when you are ready, don't have one because you feel pressured by society. All babies should be wanted babies in my opinion and suffering needs to be stamped out. How do we do this? By teaching people responsible sexual behavior, encouraging abstinence but also encouraging birth control use when they DO choose to have sex. Make birth control easily affordable and accessible. Encourage and promote young people to be careful about who they sleep with, to do it for love and to protect themselves when they do.

Anyways, I am sorry for the rant Sam. I just needed to get this off my chest. Talking to you just makes me so sad. This world is a mess and bringing more helpless infants into it is doing no one any good, certainly not the infants either. *sigh*...

The baby is innocent, only exists in the woman's body because of her choices, most women only abort for selfish reasons, and even if one could argue that pregnancy causes injuries, thats not the reason why most women have abortions. Pregnancy is a unique situation (as you said) and thus it makes zero sense to compare pregnancy with another situation to justify abortion, as many pro choicers have done in the past.

Not every baby who is born is born in poverty.

So what? Overpopulation is going to happen anyway

Well put but Anti-Choicers have no compassion for actual people and certainly no ability to see the consequences of forcing every pregnant woman to give birth. They are totally
    EGO-centric...

    - - - Updated - - -

What makes zero sense is for you to keep repeating things that have been proven wrong so many times.

You are wrong. Most women have abortions for completely unselfish reasons! As in they are thinking of the baby and how they cannot give it a good life. So they abort now and have their families at a later time when they can give their babies a good life. This is actually very unselfish if you think about it.

When you force young women who have not finished high school or finished acquiring a college education you typically end up with another family in poverty.

Not if we make an effort as a species to control our reproduction!

It's just so depressing to think about. They just don't look at the big picture, ever, at all. Most of these women choosing abortions now will have babies later, multiple babies. Some of these women ALREADY have babies now too.

But what's the point of bringing a little, innocent baby into this world only to force it to suffer? This happens so much, an unbelievable and insane amount. Just look outside this country. It's so sad. And with just a little more education, with a little more effort in responsible reproduction, birth control, having kids when you can afford them, or even just when you WANT them so they're not treated like garbage by their parents, we might just have a better world. But no, just push out as many babies as you can, ignore all else. *sigh*

Do you EVER consider what the life of a child would be like if his mother didn't want it?
No, you didn't. Because like all Anti-Choicers you ONLY care about how YOU feel.........how very SELFISH of you!!!!!
