You never heard that from me. Good citizens pay their taxes, and I do. GOOD GOVERNMENTS KEEP THOSE TAXES FAIR AND HONEST- and they don't.
That's the complaint about taxation. And the people who pay the least complain the most. I usually pay in the top 10% bracket, which covers 70% of all taxes received. Those are the people that are paying, the other 90% aren't paying half as much even though there are 7 times more of them. That's IRS data, not speculation or opinion. You be reading the wrong books, following the wrong talking heads.
