Is anybody watching "Rings of Power"?

Riveting is it?

 

Well, I’ve had other competing priorities, plus keep hearing about how woke it is. Sometimes that just means strong female lead. I have x minutes to devote to uninterrupted tv, so there’s been a lot of competition. I will likely save for summer.

 

It gets better as it goes.
The first two or three episodes are mainly character development and the plot moves very slowly as a result but the pace picks up after that.
It's not a classic but it's perfectly watchable and I wouldn't take much notice of woke obsessed critics who openly admit they have not watched it.
