Is Donald Trump the only US President to have been evacuated from the White House due to riots?

You'll remember when the 2020 riots in DC led to Donald Trump being moved to a shelter somewhere underground, or wherever he went. Has any other President been moved to a shelter like that or evacuated from the White House due to riots/protests happening outside?

I can't recall when that has ever happened before. If it has, pls share and include news reports if you can find them.

A family member was saying that the possibility of President Biden being evacuated from the White House for the same reason is now something that must be taken seriously after 1/6, and it made me question when such a thing has ever happened in the past. We were on the topic of Latin American heads of state and military coups and all that.

 

I'm pretty sure Madison evacuated before the Brits burned down DC. As for Trump, he was not in any danger from people standing on the street. He wanted to hide in the basement, so that was what he did.

Yes I recall many folks saying that it was cowardly, a stunt, etc... That's fine, I am just trying to recall when the same security measures were taken with the same reasoning being given like it was in 2020.
