I am a poor white male. You hurt me every time I read something like this. I mean it. My feelings hurt, literally. It's like I don't deserve the same chance as any other poor male. It's like I deserve less than any other poor male.

Then, I see you posting about equality, and read how passionate you are. That makes me feel like you don't care about true equality.

Your posts read like you need rich white men and you are afraid of poor white men or disgusted with them because they don't take advantage of the privilege they have. Then your posts seem to praise or placate poor black men and cause me to believe you think of them as martyrs who can never be paid for their suffering and deserve to be replaced at the bottom with those poor white men.

 

Oh you poor dear. It must be so painful not having the same chances as poor men. I have a solution. Give up all your money and then you can have the luxury of poverty.I am trying to figure out though what chances you are envying here.
I do not need rich white man, I can make it on my own the same way poor white men can. The only difference is my opportunities are much more recent so I don’t have the networking system yet so it’s a bit more challenging.
But I hear your woes. You grew up without any of the privileges that poor black men grew up with. You grew up without the privilege of not being a woman being paid less and denied opportunities. It’s tough...just look at the power in this country..all blacks and women

Renee, I have no money. I truly am poor and out of work. I envy the chances of the poor immigrants who are given free education. I envy the chances of the black men and women who were offered a free education and turned it down, when I begged for it and was told I was "privileged" and could not receive it. I envy those who can get, yet do not ask for the free grant money I begged for and was told I could not get it because it was set aside for poor black men and women. I envy them for their ability to not care about attempting to get an education or a free ride, when I desperately want and need it, as well as financially qualify for it.

When I asked how many of those grants were taken, I was told, "one". There were many more left. All they had to do was walk there and ask and all could be theirs with a little work. I had to drive there to get the education. The government funds were set aside for those neighborhoods with drug and murder problems.

I find that there are plenty of sponsors when free money is available from the government, but they know few are interested in it. I'm sue they can find a way to justify not returning it. Yet, those who need it, when white and poor, cannot get it. Those who would return it to the government in wage taxes, and taxes on consumables, federal, state, and local taxes, will not be eligible.

Your constant bloviating doesn't make you fair or concerned with equality when you have no clue.

You didn’t go to public school? You had to pay for it?
College isn’t free for Immigrants and by the way there is as much grant money for you since you’re poor, but it takes effort to find out how to get it. Maybe you can talk to those immigrants who you imagine have it so easy. Whoever gave you the Information you’re spewing here , was ill informed or maybe didn’t want to hurt your feelings because you weren’t academically qualified.
Don’t feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself for not being educated enough to get grant money or smart enough to get scholarships. Feel sorry for yourself for not even considering loans but then again trump wants to make that harder...you’re a wonderful example of one who scapegoats others for your own lack of achievement.
