Is the Earth just really a supermax prison?

It seems to me that the Earth is a prison for there is no escape.............

 

It's only a prison for those who have no choices in their lives or believe they have none.

 

Well it just so happens , none of u have a choice when it comes to the question of escaping the planet. The Earth is a perfect Universal prison with no proper means of escape.

 

We should start calling it Australia. lol

 

If Earth is a prison, life itself is a prison. You can't escape your body, you can't escape you head.

 

A very similar situation, perhaps we should. It as always been questionable in my mind about our existence on Earth, it does seem a possibility that we could of been brought here from elsewhere. We have an escape plan with rockets, but the resources and distances we can reach are limited because of the speed we can travel at.
In my mind the Earth would be a perfect prison?

 

I tend to find life is a prison of circumstance, the rich having the means to escape their local prison of circumstance. I am surrounded by invisible walls that I can not cross without a ticket , unless I walk in which I may never get there to the journeys end.

 

Most people realize that wealth does not equate to happiness. Just as many rich people are unhappy as those without wealth. Just as many people without wealth are happy as those with wealth. You know, 'Money doesn't buy happiness.' It is true.

 

Money doesn't buy happiness is something the rich say to keep the poor suppressed. I agree we can find happiness in a local place but the poor do have only localised freedom. Happiness is more than just being with friends and family, happiness is not been a prisoner of circumstance and being free to escape whenever you choose.

Money doesn't buy happiness but it certainly helps....

 

Have you looked into theories concerning the Searl effect generator or Vortex math?

I have not heard of those theories, although I suspect they are hypothesis.

It may help. It also often causes unhappiness. Money is not the solution if you are not happy.

 

I am neither happy or sad, I am at a state in my life where I have reached an equilibrium of emotions and feel machine like. I consider this a blessing as it allows me to focus better than I ever did before.

How would we know if the Earth was a prison?

Imagine in another scenario we could breath in space and the governing bodies lied to us and said we can't to stop us leaving and keep us working for corporations?

 

The OP seems to have created his own mental Prison within his mental prison of existence. YOU are indeed incarcerated and will die in a prison of your own design...bummer.

My statement would not change if I had been to prison, which I haven't of course. Nobody of the general public really has liberty because in one way or another they are owned. An inmate can't escape their incarceration but neither can we escape the Earth.

I think if the government had the means for us to travel into deep space, they would not tell us or even allow it. Governing bodies and corporation would never allow their puppets to leave. A rich person is not rich if they have no slaves. Only the slaves give money value and if we all left the Earth the rich become poor because their wealth can no longer buy the slaves that serve them.

 

Yes the Earth is a prison. The best you can hope for is an ordinary life. There is nothing in the universe that we can ever learn that can change a human's fate, at best a ho-hum everyday life or at worst: trampled under foot.

 

What what you deem a normal life?

In the Uk we work from the age of 16 until retirement at 65/66, so for all this time we are slaves to corporation technically serving the rich. We can not just settle on a piece of empty land and live off the land, we are integrated into their sly system. We have to work or starve and be homeless.
It seems to me that governing bodies think they own the Earth and the land and have the right to sell it.

I hope we do have an alien invasion soon.....

p.s Not been able to live where we want proves we are prisoners.

 

You have a strange set of concerns if this is one of them. Why not just live your life the best you can and quit worrying? Oh, and if Earth is a prison then the planets where aliens originate are also prisons.

 

You know an ordinary life:

• Work until retirement age
• pay too much in taxes
• watch the cost of food and goods go up
• complain, complain, complain and never get any satisfaction
• get a few visits from friends and family to lighten your mood from the tedium, dispersed throughout your life.
• die

It's the history of civilization. And don't pout but it's become the standard of living all over the world.

And don't look for aliens to help you. I went somewhere for they day with one, and it turns out, when it took me out to eat, they have to pay for their food just like everyone else. They also have to work. .

 

Not if the aliens developed deep space travel , your only a prisoner if you can't escape your locality. Imagine if instead of Australia we had used the Moon for prisoners.

 

I've seen some pretty strange threads on PF, but this one takes the cake. So have the astronauts on the space station escaped? And if so, why do they come back? It's not like there's a guard tower in space. Is gravity just a fiction, an artificial concept designed to keep us rooted to the ground? If we didn't believe in gravity, we could just float off this prison planet and wander around the universe? If it sounds like I'm mocking you, it's because I'm mocking you.

You are welcome to mock me I do not take offence. The astronauts on the space station are hung up on the prison wall. The low Earth orbit being within the prison grounds, unless we could improve science and technology immensely, we could never possibly escape.
We are born to be handed a death sentence, if we could travel deep into space we may be able find cures or even gain the knowledge to live a lot longer. Ageing slows down when in motion, if we could find a place with less density of fields etc we may live longer.
