That’s too generous. I would put it at a week old. Long enough to get stale dry and manky not long enough to start supporting new verdant life

If he refuses to nominate someone, it will be obvious why he is doing it, and that just adds more fuel to the fire when it comes to getting support in Congress impeach. All it would take is a dozen of the more moderate Republicans, who aren't stuck up Trump's ass to support conviction, and Trump is gone. He's already lost a lot of support among moderates which his refusal to denounce militant neo-nazis as terrorists, and his other BS. THey are enough never-Trumpers' in Congress, especially after is feud with McCain, where he said that POW's don't deserve respect because they were too stupid not to be captured, that I don't think it would take much to get a 60 vote supermajority in the senate to convict.

You defended the question of the OP by referring to right wing short wave conspiracy theories..so I'd say you are defending the conspiracy theory of this thread.

    That's your side.

A Vjce President like every government official must be loyal to the country and the citizens. For a Veep to just support the POTUS with blind loyalty and state at the POTUS as if he is in love with him is wrong, sick, and not fair to the citizens.

I go back to that day when Don had his cabinet along with high ranking advisors kneel around the WH conference room and chant how much they appreciate all he does for them is a sick desplay of loyalty.

Only kings and dictators such as Stalin and Hitler and Kim and Saddam and third world tin horn strongmen gave done that before.

I don't think so. Trump is sure to be doing jail time when he leaves the Presidency. I believe that if he loses, he'll quit so that Pence can issue him a pardon. Less likely if he stabs him in the back. And if he tries to press Pence to resign to appoint Niki ahead of time... I'm not sure that he can trust her to be as "accommodating" as Vice President Pussyfeet. After all, she still has a political career ahead of her. Pence is done!

"Is Trump going to dump Pence?"

not a chance, he knows most of the GOP does not want a religious nut as President, that is why the right wont impeach him

Trump may dump Pence and run Ivanka as his VP. Niki Hayley is too smart to get tangled up with Trump.

Where is the evidence that Trump has committed any actual crimes? And even if he has he won't be prosecuted after leaving office. It would be like declaring permanent political war in this country.

I'm pretty sure there's more evidence in the documents that are being subpoenaed, but the above, as it is, would be enough to put him away for 80 years.

It would be a declaration that all future Presidents are above the law if he isn't. I don't know if you're OK with that. But I'm not. If a political war is the alternative, so be it. Our country has fought actual wars in the past to secure the laws and the Constitution. Why not have a political one to defend them this time?

Let me tell you this, though: Trump is a fad. He's not worth a political war on the side of the GOP. He'll go down in history as an embarrassing anomaly. Better for Republicans to just get over it as quickly as possible or they will not see the inside of the White House in a loooong time.

I doubt it. he does not want to piss off the same Christian conservatives that, Pence was put on the ticket to bribe into showing up for this philandering, lying, bullying amoral pile of dung who barely warmed a pew before he ran for office.

Presidents have to be above the law to a degree in this country. Otherwise EVERY major election will turn into a literal bloodbath

as the saying goes "in a real democracy it must be safe to lose an election".

Making any president face the possibility of prison once they are out of power turn every election into a horrendous struggle for power. Because no one wants to go to prison. Especially for actions they take while in office.

EVERY U.S. president has done things while in office that could be considered illegal and subject him to prison if that was a possibility.

Seriously, but it makes sense if you think about it, at least when it comes to "online Progressives/Communists"

They don't actually know what is really going on, they are just pushed around by the MSM they parrot off of.

Just like so many of these stories; Russia, Ford, Recession and now this about Pence ... I guess. Seems like a pretty stupid lie but whatever.

Anyways, the more they do this the more peopel in the middle they are pushing away.

Tim Pool is a perfect example of this, he was a Bernie supporter in 2016 but if you watch his videos now, he is absolutely disgusted with how badly the Progressives/Communists lie, the media helping them the whole way.

Moderates are now SPRINTING from the Progressive/Communist Party, I think 2020 is going to be a landslide to be honest.

That statement is so broad that it makes it difficult to use. Presidents should not be above the law to the degree that they profit from the Presidency, that they allow and encourage foreign intervention in our elections, that they use their power to hide their crimes and intimidate people into also committing crimes for their benefit, etc. That is, obviously, what I am referring to. I don't want to write that long list every time, so just read it as such every time you see "a President should not be above the law" or similar.

A President who commits a minor transgression is not what I am referring to. It would be healthy if they feared going to prison even for that... but it's just not what I'm talking about.

A president profiting from the presidency is hardly wrong or illegal. Do you really think millions of people would've bought the books of Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Bush, Carter, Ford, Nixon.....well you get the idea, if they had not been president?

Regarding "allow and encourage foreign intervention in our elections"...assuming you are referring to the 2016 election, you do remember who was president then? Barack Obama. You want former President Obama in prison.

I couldn't stand President Obama and I don't even want that.

Not sure specifically what you are referring to regarding the rest.

    As Trump gets more desperate?

The only desperation I see is coming from the left-wingers

Everything the left-wingers have thrown at Trump has not stuck.

You can call Trump "Teflon Don" if that makes you feel better.

Against the 25th amendment, but honestly, the 25th Amendment is almost impossible to invoke. It would be much easier to just impeach him.

Impeachment only requires a majority of the House and 2/3 of the Senate, and no involvement of the Cabinet/VP. As you can see above, removal of a President by the 25th Amendment requires the VP, a majority of the Cabinet, and 2/3 of the House and 2/3 of the Senate.

That would just piss off the right and guarantee a Biden/Warren/Sanders win. Not sure who will be the dem, but I think it will be one of those three.
