Boy, I bet Obama is cowering in fear under his desk right now and hoping that he can get out of office before this blows up.

Then he can give pretty speeches about how he would have handled it if it had happened on his watch.

    lol

USA's leaders are too busy fighting each other to worry about foreigners.

Think maybe our leaders are fighting because one side is more concerned with battling Americans freedoms than our enemies? that 6 years of inaction and illegal arms dealing has created the greatest threat the west has ever faced? that while the president is golfing and the source of much of this failed foreign policy prepares to occupy the white house our enemy is scooping up huge swaths of power where vacuum was made?

Stop defending your side, or blaming the system. you are empowered to change both. It just requires independent thought and choking down a little pride. suck it up.

The USA leaders are fighting because GOP with George W Bush found it too difficult to defeat foreign enemies and decided to try it on with Democrats. However they have shown themselves incompetent at that. GOP don't have a credible POTUS contender for 2016.

The strategies depend on the political orientation.

If in the brief term we keep on thinking that the defeat of ISIS is the main goal, considering the territorial context and the social complication of the area, I see as an available option the organization of a counter clandestine insurgency [this time lay, not religious ...], but in the meanwhile the first step would be to pay well equipped and efficient corporations dealing with mercenary war business.

In a few words, let's pay mercenaries to go there and fight [it will be a matter of price], giving them air support and logistics.

Then, once defeated ISIS, we will take our blessed decision ...

Why do so many people want to deprive others of their right to self-determination? Do they seriously think that we can keep other people from forming their own nations that reflect their own ideas?

The U.S. should just get out see if Islamic State can take Baghdad either way who cares. This is still Bush's war and here we are eleven years down the track. I have a better idea and that is trying Bush and other members of his administration for war crimes and crimes against humanity at the ICC. It would clean up this sty of **** and bring the best resolve to the war on terrorism for the American people, after their forces have left Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. The hunter has become the hunted.

We have a right to, as civilized human beings. These people are savages. Have you even been paying attention to the news? Or do you support genocide and forced marriages/gang rapes of innocent people?

No one is innocent. Guys have been raping women in wars since the first guys had a fight. That's why we are all related. Anyway, it's foolish to keep interfering in such conflicts because we will never do what's required to end it once and for all. So why waste time, money, and lives and cause everyone hardship and suffering? Even the people being oppressed don't care enough to fight back so how can we save them from their oppressors? At some point in time we will stop fighting because even the most rabid hawk will realize that it's going nowhere. That might happen next year or 20 years from now but it will happen.

This is what Bush has made Obama almost oblige to. The fact of the matter is this is because of Bush, on a political front - he is the one who started this and consistently supported the campaign, along with his administration - Powell (who was actually fired only a year in to the war because he had reservations about it), Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice... pull them all up for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Calling Islamic State savages makes you come on too strong. It could be said that is just Islam being Islam. If that is Islam, then let it be.

For the United States, intervening in these matters of humanitarianism is not practical and the last fourteen years has been testament to that. A lot of this wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for Bush. Hussein could have even died of old age by now if they never invaded.

Why is this so common, even in Saudi Arabia where you can have your hand cut off for shoplifting, because it is just Islam being Islam.

Who in the **** is crying out about the humanitarian rights of Saudi Arabians? Nobody that I know of. Oil and money is what will be compromised. Instead the Saudi's rather than having their human rights record criticised or even their country invaded got treated like high class citizens with private flights on private jets in five star hotels, they had it ****ing all thanks to the Bush government. Another thing is the U.S. withdrew their military bases there, something that Osama Bin Laden wanted in his 9/11 demands.

I believe that Bush actually had this vision that he wanted to convert every Muslim to Christianity. A war in Afghanistan, a war in Iraq, wars for ****ing Israel.

It is just Islam being Islam with what is a Christian and Freemason government of the United States (and partly Zionist Israel) trying to change that. If that is how Islam will be then that is how Islam will be.

Try former president George W. Bush and vice president Dick H. Cheney for war crimes, crimes against humanity and human rights abuses at the ICC. That will bring the best resolve and closure to the American people in my opinion since this started with 9/11.

The Muslims hate us and want to convert us and they will always attack us even if we don't support Israel. The problem is Islam. I think we need to kill them and convert the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan by force.

To be sure that UCMJ will be applied you have to persuade the administration at Washington to send there ground troops, but so far Obama seems to be oriented to supply air support to someone else to fight on the field.

And I can tell you more: I don't restrict the set of possible mercenary organizations.
Furthermore, there are the Peshmerga. I wouldn't exclude the possibility to create a regular NATO unit made by them [following the example of the Nepali Gurkha], at least this would submit to Turkish attention a problem [Turkey is a NATO member and if a NATO unit fights near to its borderlines, theoretically Ankara should intervene ...].

    We know you.

The KSA does cut off your hand for theft, and you do not have to be a three time loser. You know absolutely nothing about Saudi law, as shown many times. Do not reply without a source... because you aren't one.

    http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/pi...ca-mosque-theft/2007/11/06/1194117985052.html

The punishment is levied based on the offense to Allah. If it is a great theft, or for instance a theft at a holy site, you can lose your hand, on a first offense. Repeat offenses will get the other, or feet/legs. You don't even wanna see the news from the Nigerian side... anyway... as usual, you have no idea what the (*)(*)(*)(*) you are talking about.

No, you won't get your hand cut off for stealing a fig... but no telling how a theft will hit a judge.

They still gouge your eyes out too over there.

They don't gouge out eyes.. Adultery is not a capital offense and there is NO stoning in Arabia.

Stealing inside the mosque is a very serious offense.. More serious than theft.

    Your ignorance is typical.
