Why are people even reporting this news any more? At this point, can't we just assume Israel is committing terrorism at least once a week?

 

I was just pointing out how stupid is to call Palestinians - or their supporters - as "anti-semitic". They are closer to the original meaning of the word.

Israelis are, in practice and at the end of the day, more antisemitic than the Palestinians.

When I describe anti-jewishness, I use the term "anti-jewish" . It maybe lack "antisemit" sensationalistic shock value, but at least it cuts thru the PC bllsht.

I swear some people revert to an IQ of 30 when they hear the word (which is exactly the wanted effect).

 

Theres a huge difference between the absolute correct definition and the one that is commonly used with meaning almost everyone agrees with. If your out of ammo to the point which your pulling out a dictionary, perhaps its time to change the subject.

The geist of the times (rather than a dictionnary) seems to indicate that it is a loaded term, used more as a threat to be used in the case of a disagreement rather than... whatever it means at the moment, thanks to a PC environment.

I'm Israeli. Factions and events in the region are daily life to me. I see why you wouldn't discuss this though. You risk being accused later of double standards, condoning the killing of Palestinians when done by other Arabs, while denying Jews the right to the "factions and events" type of excuse for their actions against Hamas or Hezb'allah.

This is not about free passes. This is about the so-called pro-Palestinians not really caring about Palestinian Arabs. There are never any events held by pro-Palestinians in support of persecuted journalists in the PA, or against discriminatory practices in Gaza, or about the inhumane treatment of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. There are no economic initiatives to better the lives of Palestinians in the PA and Gaza. There are no meetings of protest against anything the Arab leadership is doing, no matter how atrocious, unless the blame can somehow be pinned on Israel.

The so called pro-Palestinians are not pro anything. They're just anti-Israel.Their activity hurts the interests of Palestinians, because it teaches them that their lives will only be improved by destroying, not by building something for themselves.
