He was first set up while he worked for Marco Rubio. From the sounds of the remarks that the Italian leader made today, the Koch-Glitsch Italia equipment transfer was talked about. Sad that a US president can't talk about corruption over the phone. It takes a face to face meeting to get it done.
This are off lately that is for sure. A VP useing corrupt tactics to kill an investigation is ok, but a president saying I would like some help in stopping corruption from happening is wrong. Remember, Papadoupolis was working for Marco Rubio early in 2016 and not yet for Trump. I was going to snip your entire post after the word "Why?," until I read your last sentence. Leaders of foreign nations cannot talk to Trump on the phone, because we have deep state haters that will leak content of their conversation, or blab about it at their kid's birthday party to anyone who cares to listen. The leakers we know of are just the ones who have gone public. We probably have deep state traitors leaking their inside information to anyone and everyone, foreign or domestic. But we only hear about the ones who leak first or third hand information to the news media, or to Adam Schiff.
