If that were true, why didn't the GOP majority in the House impeach him? Why were none of his appointees and "insiders" indicted? The only focus of congressional Republicans was Benghazi. At least eight expensive "investigations" and nothing to show for it.

In Trump's case, we have many indictments, a few in jail or served some time, including his own lawyer on charges in which Trump himself is an unindicted co-conspirator, and his campaign manager, with whom his current lawyer, Giuliani, has been consulting by phone calls to Manafort's prison. And that's not counting the current fiasco for which he is getting impeached, aka The Trump and Rudy Show.

Trump supporters are out of ammo. The law is against you, the facts are against you, so deflection and whataboutisms are all you have.

No indictments, no facts in evidence of actual criminal activity, no one doing time. Just a lot of "Look over there!" whataboutisms because that's all Trump and his supporters have left.

But that’s what Trump has taught them. If you repeat a lie enough, people will believe it. But doesn’t common sense tell them that if Obama was a criminal the Republicans would have jumped on the opportunity to get rid of him?

Your premise - that Republicans are going to jump on every criminal act of Obama is deeply flawed. You can attack the President - but not on things that conflict with Necessary Illusions and/or some of the Establishment propaganda narratives of the day.

Otherwise you end up like Tulsi Gabbard.
