Jan. 6 Song Featuring Trump Jumps To #1 On Charts

A group of January 6th political prisoners, who call themselves the “J6 Prison Choir,” released a song featuring former President Donald Trump which has soared to the top of the iTunes charts.

Trump posted a screenshot of the iTunes chart which showed the song, “Justice for All,” sitting at number one.

The J6 Prison choir has gathered together every day for the past two years at 9:00 PM to sing the National Anthem. A music video for the song was released on Friday by Kash Patel, who served as the Acting United States Secretary of Defense during the Trump administration…

In the song, the J6 prisoners can be heard singing the Star-Spangled Banner as President Trump recites the pledge of allegiance. All the song’s proceeds, which is priced at $1.29 on iTunes, will be donated to the J6 prisoners, Forbes reported.

This is a great way to publicize that the United States government under Joe Biden holds political prisoners. The release of the Capitol videos shows that many of them are being held for no good reason still without bail still pending trial. It’s time to release our political prisoners now.

 

A great way to support those illegitimately held political prisoners many of whom should be set free due to prosecution withholding exculpatory evidence from the accused and their defense counsel. Trump is right to help these forgotten persons.

This article is very misleading. Indeed the song is number 1. But only on Itunes. Payed, individual downloaded songs represent just a tiny fraction of music downloads. So indeed, the song is ahead of someone like Miley Cyrus on iTunes, and iTunes only. On iTunes a few thousand downloads can get you to the top of the charts, and very few people get their music that way today. Just to give you an idea: on the iTunes Charts Trump is ahead of Miley Cyrus. In real life, Miley Cyrus' song has been played well over 100 MILLION times on Spotify, while the Jan 6 song has been played 148000 times by 79000 people. Youtube, a free download service has Trump doing his best 480 000 downloads. Compared to 295 000 000 for Miley Cyrus. So, the healing by trending politics is very misleading. No surprise.

First of all, no objective person cares one bit what MBFC has to say about anything at all, particularly since I left a similar site that used it as their holy grail to limit expression of conservatives at her site leading to fewer conservatives there. The song is or was #1 on the iTunes chart when the article was written. That the news story makes liberals unhappy is pure gravy to me.

To the specifics of the OP, why are the funds already raised by Trump to fight election fraud, hundreds of millions BTW, NOT being used by those incarcerated for J6? Why were these funds already raised (from Trump supporters) by Trump not being used for lawyers for ALL of the J6 law breakers to get them representation and bail?

 

I find it interesting that you claim to be religious yet find joy in others being unhappy, this seems to be conservatives in general while liberals may not like conservative policy they do not want anything to be a negative — liberals want conservatives to have inexpensive healthcare, not struggle to be able to afford childcare, we don’t want corporations to be able to work y’all until your death.

But so many of the compassionate Christian’s find glee in harming others because they don’t march in lockstep. It’s quite sad

Having listened to the first 30 seconds or so of that song I am positive that most of the people downloading it are either extreme right wing or are making fun of it. It’s cringy at best.

I find it interesting that you didn't understand what the poster wrote after having his post rebutted by someone who claimed there is "no Trump song" based on the fact that he didn't believe his sourced link from Trending Politics.

 

1st off, all responsible people care about media bias.

MBFC is not a fair minded unbiased source to determine things. They don’t get to determine what’s truthful or not or what’s fake or not. The NewsTalkers uses them as their “bible” and banned members from using sources they rate as questionable or touching the arrowhead on their line. Of course MBFC so rates 11 conservative sites that way for every liberal one. MBFC is the reason I’m here not there now.

 

I stand by every word I wrote above in response to my thread. The fact is that those who performed the song and got support from President Trump are Joe Biden’s political prisoners being held without bail and no trial for 26 months. If they weren’t Biden’s trophies they wouldn’t have been there to make the song or need to raise funds for their legal defense.

 

Where you stand is irrelevant given hyper partisan biases but you did not address my question why all that money, hundreds of millions, Trump raised from selling b/s stolen election nonsense to his faithful base was and is not being spent on the lawyers and defense of the J6 "prisioners" he sent to the Capitol? If some doubt the O/P source, it's up to them to PROVE what they wrote is false. Obviously, a 10 second search would have proved that the song is real and genuine.

Shooting the messenger/source does little but help to derail the ongoing thread discussion, in my estimate. Bringing Christians into mix doesn't help either.

 

False, one of the first rules to have actual debate on a topic is that all parties approach it with good faith arguments and posting sources that are closer to tabloid blogs than they are non-partisan news sources is a way to immediately turn it into — well, what most posts here turn into.

Christians are brought into this because they scream they are morally superior but are represented by individuals like we frequently see here.

The song is genuine(ly bad) but if people have to go find other sources because the one listed is usually biased and full of partisan rhetoric then the creator has already failed.

Note how very few people make comments about people of Jewish faith, or US Muslims, or Buddhist — it’s because those groups typically have personal faith and do not wish to force it onto others like evangelicals are doing.

Miley Cyrus had 100 Million listens during the same time frame the Jan 6 song was released on Spotify or are you arguing overall listens regardless of time frames?

I am curious what the one week listening numbers are instead of just throwing out overall listens over the past year regardless of release date. Miley does have a label mass promoting to her existing massive fan base and even I saw her promos. Until I saw this thread, I didn't even know this song was released. But, to just top of charts on one platform is quite the achievement over a Pop Star who has massive label promotion.
