Of course. In fact that's how we'll decide policy. We'll pit republicans and democrats against eachother and the winner gets to pass their bill as if it has the votes. You are correct in that McCain would not have been set on getting the U.S. out of war. But, the second part of your comment is perplexing. What exactly has Obama done to get us out of war? Sure, three years into his presidency troops came back from Iraq after he had promised this would be done in one year, but that came after the surge. He has involved us in various extents in foreign entanglements such as Libya, Egypt and Syria, along with the drone strikes. Obama is as much of a war monger as McCain.
If Hillary runs, and the Rs have a strong candidate, Hillary will lose! I doubt if the bi-sexual, murdering Hildebeast runs anyway.
Obama has gotten us out of the Iraq war, later than he originally said BECAUSE of the war-momgering Republican Congress, and he has gotten the U.S. out of the Afghanistan War as well (upcoming). McCain and all those cronies of his would probably have dropped nuclear bombs in both Iraq and Afghanistan by now, and who knows how much longer our country would even exist?
Your statement fails right from the start, with the words "if the Rs have a strong candidate" simply because they do not and will not, certainly not one who can even hold a candle to Hillary. Would you like to place a bet on whether or not Hillary runs?

Sorry to disappoint you, but I made it back. I was interviewed by channel 2 of St. Louis. I talked to some politicians, and had a good time. I'm sure my mental aptitude far exceeds yours in most categories of importance!
