There is talk that this was an ambush shooting at the cemetery which spilled into a Kosher supermarket. The other two shooters were tentatively identified as a juvenile male and female.

Maybe the shooter wasn't aware of the firearm laws in the state of NJ.

I wonder if this was a straight assassinate cops shooting, or something else. When I heard "Kosher Supermarket" you know what my first thought was, but it may be that the shooters just happened to run in there. Since the captured one was black, chances are the others weren't Amish. Really curious to know the details.

With more guns than people in our country it only requires the money to buy guns anywhere in the USA,it is harder to buy cigarettes.

Apparently it started when an officer approached a suspect in a murder investigation.

And yet Boise, ID has more guns than people and a homicide rate lower than any in Europe (below 1 per 100k).

Well we're past all that Bro! There are far to many guns and crazy people that kill people with them.. Banning, regulating and putting someone to death for murder with a firearm isn't and hasn't deterred anyone when they get the hanker'n to own one and kill someone...

If I were an anti gun dreamer, I'd simply be real with myself and join the party!

Well he makes a good point for minimum wage! Now if we can just get the inner city rock hounds to stop financing the thugs and their contraband shops ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

I am in the business and during the obama years, we did three times the business with our range and training classes. At one point in time, Glock was backordered almost a year and 22 ammo was not to be seen anywhere in the country for nearly two full years and just one manufacturer, CCI, was cranking out 2 million rounds per day and they were hopelessly drowning in backorders.

    Update -

Who wants to wager that this will be swept under the rug, with the suspects being black?

Interesting....I don't recall having to go through a federal background check when I bought my cigarettes yesterday. Nor do I recall having to go to my local sheriff's office to get a license to buy them. I didn't even get carded. I simply went into my local convenience store asked for what I wanted, paid for it and left. One of dozens of places I could have bought them. Yet I only know of one gun store in my town where I can buy guns and its a pawn shop that is very strict and always checks with the police on anything brought in for pawn....and they're much stricter on guns sales.

The shortages were quite insane to be honest. I actually stopped making regular trips to the range because my stash was crazy low, 22, 223, 9m especially, when you could find them it was at near gouging prices. Then there were all the rumors about homeland buying up everything, etc, weird times. I blame the hoarders for much of it, and of course once things opened back up and prices were normal, I became a bit of a hoarder myself.

I believe that was an Obama quote, but my 10 second google search was even worse. (books and vegetables)
would some of those neighborhoods fall into the shithole catagory?

And as I recall Obama took a LOT of flak over his idiotic statement.

Looks like one of the suspects was a former 'Black Hebrew Israelite', those are the same people who were hatefully harassing the Covington kids.

    https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/jersey-city-shootout-developing-details-3/2239660/

Odd that, right? The story very well could've been about how hateful these Black Hebrew Israelites are. But naturally, with the MSM being what it is, they chose to focus on the white kids in MAGA hats. And predictably, this shooting incident will evaporate into the ether.

ya, there were a few, that made me chuckle

Thats why we no longer have bank tellers
    57 states
    if I had a son...
like your plan keep your plan
    you didn't build that
i don't want my daughters punished with a baby
maybe a little blow when you can afford it

but these days his gaffe's seem less interesting and more tame to be honest and in general he was a gifted speaker, there would certainly be a longer list for Trump, and probably for biden as well.

Next to today's leftist outrage anything is tame. Many leftists have turned on Obama and has even claimed him as being a conservative.

it could be argued both ways, IMO trump is his own worst enemy with his dam mouth (and thumbs) he invites attacks.

I wasn't initially an Obama fan because I hated the finished product of the ACA, I didn't vote for him but I think he handled the outrage with class, very presidential. Something I appreciate even more today.
