P.S. Handler's jewish origin is relevant to the topic because she made her comment after she read about how a couple of Chinese tourists were arrested in Germany for making "Nazi" salutes.

It kinda misses my point.

When the Chinese or Japanese are out imitating the Nazi salute in Germany, it's not about ascribing to Nazi ideology, it's simply about mimicking something associated with that culture.

Often, they don't understand it, they're just imitating it.

 

Yes, you're right, but jewish lobby groups and media outlets still become furious and attack these Asian youngsters and demand an apology from them. It's absolutely nuts.
