If they'd come all the way to Canada to kill her, don't think they wouldn't kill you too. This isn't just a few individuals, it's an entire society. She should take the threat seriously. In 2004, Dutch film director Theo Van Gogh was assassinated by a Muslim fanatic after he made a short ten minute film called 'Submission' which drew attention to the mistreatment of women in Islam. And, of course, Salman Rushdie is still under a fatwa (Islamic religious edict) calling for his death issued by Iran's Ayatollah Khomeni for his novel 'Satanic Verses.' Tolerance is not an Islamic virtue.
The translator of that book was killed, Hitoshi Igarashi, in his home country in Japan. They found his dead body with multiple stab wounds all over. He had been killed in his office at the university. The Japanese police were never able to identify the perpetrator. Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran had called for death to anyone connected to the book 3 months before Igarashi was killed.

Another thing about Muslims. They're always very concerned about minority rights when they are the minority but when they become the majority there ARE no minority rights
Sounds like maybe yet another thing Muslims have in common with the Left. Think about how much the Soviets or Communist Chinese cared about minority rights once they knew no one had the power to oppose them. And as for Afghanistan, wasn't it the Left trying to tell us that those people are just doomed to failure and we can't help them? Targeted Assassinations are all the rage these days .. "acceptable" as per the rules of civil conduct among nations .. so why not ... whats the problem ?
I find it hard to care about this stuff. Muslims will never change. Just protect the woman best you can and make sure you make an example out of anyone trying to commit crimes like this. Let them know their extremist mentality is not welcome here.

If you care about her life, ACTUALLY care, then don't use this as an excuse to condemn all Muslims. You've shown better judgement in other threads. Please exercise it here as well.
