Biden is an absolutely awful candidate. I hope he does get the nomination.

It does seem that if Biden is really the best candidate the Democrats can put forwards and apparently no Republicans are willing the challenge Trump, your political system is in a real mess. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would be willing to lower themselves in to the mire of national US politics at the moment. Nobody with good and honest intentions has any chance of succeeding in that environment without compromising their principles.

That's a hell of a thing to say.

Joe Biden Falsely Says RFK, MLK Were “Assassinated in The ‘70’s, Late 70.”

Which makes a nice bookend for Biden’s look back at President Roosevelt on television in 1929 when the stock market crashed:

Joe Biden’s brain surgeon is defending Joe Biden’s brain.

Hes the only one I can tolerate out of the 20 in the clown car.

If it's a progressive candidate I wont even consider a dem, sorry!

In the unlikely event that Biden wins the election who'll be actually running the White House? Suppose Stacey Abrams was Joe's vice, how long before Joe "suddenly and unexpectedly" passes away? Yes, the Dems are that corrupt, look at what they tried to do to Trump. As I said, unlikely but still frightening. We must never, ever let them have that much power again.

Between that and Trump’s historical insights regarding the Battle of Logan International Airport being the turning point of the Revolutionary War, a Biden Trump face off should be comedy gold.

I like Joe, but not as president. In short, he's too old. I'm damn old myself, but I appreciate younger voices. This is their act now. The Dems have a lot of good, accomplished candidates with high like-ablity. Pick one of them. There's a lot of time to shake this out.

Progressives don't want progress. They want socialism and the elimination of competition. They want government health care where no one has the incentive to make it better. With private healthcare we know that there is a dedicated team of people whose jobs are solely based on running a better healthcare business. Progressives want my tax money to cover everyone. I want my tax money to cover only me.

I don't really want the progress that some are offering. Too much too fast too expensive and bad priorities.

That doesn't mean I would draw a line in the sand on tax increases to solve some of our problems including debt, we just disagree on the priorities.

I appreciated my income tax cut, but would be fine with a vat or national sales tax, phase in 5% over 3 years, no offsets no redistribution everyone pays. Raise fica caps, make capital gains progressive, Drop Gov't dead weight.

Is that the primary issue for you that you're totally against any form of universal care?

The Dems pretty much comprehend that no one in the Dem field has a snowballs chance in an oven of beating Trump.

Solution.... Run Joe and then claim that he was a weak candidate all along. Always pull that excuse out and never admit that many don't agree with the hateful rhetoric of the new Democrat Party.

After all, the Left is having a hard time admitting that their ideology isn't all that popular in about 33 states.

I'm all for universal care. I'm just against paying for it with my tax money.

I've always assumed the higher ups in the Party know they are going to lose, so they want to set up the playing field for a woman/minority in the next election.
This way they can say they tried fielding an old white male candidate and it didn't work so now they need to try something else.
It will actually make their hand stronger in fielding a female/minority candidate in the 2024 election, which is probably what they want.

The Party leadership really seems to be pushing Biden down the throats of the Democratic Party voters. I'll be extremely surprised if Biden doesn't turn out their nominee.

And Jill Biden is probably right.

Pretty sad for the Democratic Party.

Name some platform bullet points. Open borders, 'free' health care for illegals...etc
    Real funny idea of 'progress'.

Poor Jill. But I give her credit for being honest. Joe's entire campaign is hollow words and telling us that he is not Trump. Even Obama won't endorse Joe. The handwriting is on the wall.

Doesn’t matter who gets the nom. Incumbent presidents rarely lose re-election.

Tulsi Gabbard is the best of the bunch - far better than Biden.

Being progressive has nothing to do with progress.

I like Tulsi as a person, she seemed reasonable during the interviews and also on one of the debates, but her positions are as progressive as they come, so I just can't see myself taking her seriously (assuming she ever climbs out of the 2% hole she's in)

Its a bit different now than it was in 2016, Bernie was out there and shown as a caring, honest, sincere candidate with a few progressive idea's. Now there are like 6 or 7 bernies each trying to out left each other, its headed already into bizarro territory

    Jill Biden is CORRECT.

The Dems REALLY need to get Trump out of office.

    Electability is everything
