I don't think anyone argued that can't be a female or a minority and be part of the GOP House or Senate.

Trump definitely did say that there were very fine people on both sides of Charlottesville. And pointing out Trump's repeated ****-ups on racial issues is a winning message for Democrats.

So where is the lie or how will focusing on that issue destroy the country?

As much as I love Ann Richards, and continue to vote for her, she was wrong.
Jr grew up in Texas, Midland and Houston specifically. He did go away for college, but came back and continued his life in Texas. He moved to DC to help on his fathers campaign, but ended up back here in Texas, owned the Texas Rangers, and became governor, beating my second favorite politician ever for the governorship(good ole’ Ann).

 

Because they're not on mission to pick up People based on their race that's the Democrats.

It's the Democrat Party that has something to prove.

 

Blacks may be the most conservative members in the Democrat Party. The decades of voting Democrat will be hard to change since they vote as a block, largely due to social pressure. It's not a bad strategy for a minority group to have more power voting as a one-party block to have influence over that party. Dems kowtow once every four years, making sure that loyalty continues.

However, the number of conservative blacks is on the rise in recent years, so we may end up seeing a larger shift in partisanship in the future as the Democrats continue to drift further and further left, and as more and more blacks succeed in the upper socioeconomic classes in America as they have been doing over the last 50 years. Then Democrats will move on to a focus on newer Hispanic migrants.

Twice the white male voted for Obama. And, Hillary won the majority of votes in 2016. I'm not convinced the Democrats will elect him at the Convention. They stole it from Bernie last time too. Joe had a script on the desk when he was talking to Kamala asking her to be his running mate for the election. He couldn't do that without a script. something fishy going on in the Democrat Party again. Liars and cheaters they are.

 

Just more lies by Democrats. They can't even fact check and get that right. I wonder if Facebook and Twitter have fact checked that. Probably but they are in the tank for Joe Biden or the Democrats.

 

I figured the conservative tendencies is why the Democrats pander so hard. I fit into a particular minority group and find it rather insulting.

You would be complete wrong if you do. Bigotry involves more than just hatred. It can and has involved a desire of power and authority over those of the same race, religion or national origin. Jessie Jerkson and Al Shi@$#ton are perfect examples keeping Black American's in poverty and welfare. The mayors of the 40 largest cities and Democrat controlled, mostly by Black Democrat Leadership, keeping Black American's in poverty, welfare, on food stamps and not letting them seek better education for their children, and keeping fathers out of the homes. Entering, Kamala Harris, the bigot. First thing she wants to do with Biden is raise taxes on the poor and middle class. Next, raise taxes on the wealthy corporations and small businesses that employ mostly Blacks in the large cities through corporations that re-entered the U.S. after Trump lowered corporate taxes, individual taxes and lowered regulations. Why is she willing to do that against her own? Then, she wants to put them on food stamps. Then, she wants to stop charter schools and private religious schools like Catholic Schools and not allow inner-city children, mostly black and Hispanic, go to them. Instead, keep them in the terrible indoctrination schools of the Democrat Marxist Party. She's definitely a bigot as was Obama and most Democrat Black, White and Hispanic leaders.

 

Just reading the reaction of the righties and ultra righties makes her a great VP.
Because what comes from that side is just manure, from the top down.

She would make a very fine VP and if needed President.

If minorities and women wanted to run for office under the party of the GOP, they would.

 

Nothing is stopping them.

 

When David Duke endorsed Trump, he got criticized when he said, "I don't know anything about the guy. I know nothing about him." And that statement is something he maintained even after being told explicitly who was David Duke.

He didn't get credit for discrediting David Duke roughly 48 hours later.

Similarly, when his initial response to the Charlottesville was to say there are very fine people on both sides - that **** should get condemned even if later tried to exclude his praise away from white supremacists and neo-nazis because I guarantee you that there were white supremacists and neo-nazis among that group and among the general population who solely heard him say they were very fine people.

 

I saw a video of GWB speaking at a campaign rally when his Dad was running for President. This must have been in 1988. GWB had NO trace of a southern accent when he spoke at this rally.
I wonder why none of his siblings acquired a southern accent? They were raised in Texas too weren't they?
