    (CNN)Joe Biden will win Georgia, CNN projected Friday, striking at the heart of what has been a Republican presidential stronghold for nearly three decades. The former vice president is the first Democratic nominee to triumph in Georgia since Bill Clinton did it in 1992.

    Biden's victory adds 16 electoral votes to his tally,     bringing him to 306 -- matching President Donald Trump's 2016 total. With CNN's projection that Trump will win North Carolina

    I'm gonna play devil's advocate here.

    CNN is wrong. Typical. Biden won North Carolina. Trump cheated. Let the investigations begin.

    Hehe. Good for Biden. We've known it would be 306 for a bit now.

    The fact it took this long just shows how intimidate the networks are by Trumps lies and tantrums. Any other election they’d have all called these states awhile ago.

    Doesn't really matter anymore, Trump dropped the lawsuits in NV and AZ, those alone give Biden 270, it's over, Biden won.

    While I am glad trump is gone, it is still terrifying that 70 million Americans looked at his presidency and said “this is acceptable, let’s do it for another four years”.

    I am totally surprised that Mr. Biden won in Georgia. Arizona I had thought that he would won. And no I am not one to believe the polls in facts I kept saying that I had no belief in the polls. I took time off from this place to work the elections and a death in the family that took me out of state just prior to that so I went dark before and during the festivities here. I did state that this would be close so 305 for Mr. Biden is a surprise.

    Man, if 306 and losing the popular vote was a mandate back in 2016 (according to Trump), then 306 plus the popular vote must be some kind of super mandate!

    i would not consider it a landslide. We are talking 306 to 232 right? This is a solid win for Mr. Biden but not outstanding at all.

    The riots and the looting cost Mr. Biden about 75 - 85 EC votes. That Trump guy played the race card well by insinuating that Mr.Biden and Miss Harris would destroy the cubs with an invasion of Black and Brown people. right out of the 1950's but it worked like a charm.

    Totally agree!! Trump and his sycophants will whine and claim that this election was rigged right up to the second that Biden/Harris pulled that lever and flush the toilet right down into trump's swamp which he never drained.

    Well she can have her own opinion I will let her. is she back in Trump's saddle? I thought that she left to take care of family issues regarding a petulant child. Oh no wait there is a petulant child in the White House that needs supervision.
