    I hope not.

    Things are investigated to find out whether or not a law was broken. If we simply presume the law was broken...we don't need the investigation do we?

    The point of the question was point out the problem with the logic of the behavior.

    The willingness of you folks to accept someone's point of view while under oath, when it directly contradicts multiple other sources, is really interesting given your simultaneous willingness to dismiss someone's point of view while under oath, even when it is confirmed by multiple other sources.
