Thank you for proving you speak for the left in this case. Talon asked for your opinion from the left and you responded as predicted.

I'm not upset that you're calling out leftists. That's what this board is about. Calling out people you disagree with.

I don't remember who slandered a Gold Star father for being a Gold Star father. If you're talking about the people who are criticizing Kelly, take it up with them. I have said only good things about Kelly. You're upset because I'm not policing everyone's posts about him?

Kelly is now a politician, and he made comments yesterday as a politician. He is going to get feedback on those comments. That's nothing I can do anything about.

If you want to be like the other unoriginal rubes and keep calling me a Democrat, I won't stop you, even though you know I'm not. But if it makes you look cool with the in crowd of alt-righters, have at it. I won't stop you. I don't even care what the alt-right thinks of me. I'm not like you, and never will be.

Playing the BS race card is the tactic of simpletons, and Fredricka certainly qualifies.

Persecution complex? So early for a Friday.

You can't do anything about your own posts?

Right. Only when you post your political opinions, whom you ally with on the board and whom you attack. Other than that, totally a Republican.

When you refuse to even condemn a racist democrat for attacking Kelly your motivations are well spoken for.

Kelly used the term in its literary sense and used it appropriately even as he mischaracterized her speech.

It wasn't racist and I dont' believe you can get to be a four star marine general and be a racist. The notion is absurd.

I agree with you. However, Trump may be thin skinned, but what he has had to endure in these past 18 months from the press and TV news, from the left, from republicans in congress, from the entertainment media, especially actors and comedians, is beyond belief. Worst of all, they are so often duplicitous and wrong, and they completely and totally ignore the many honorable goals and objectives he is trying to get passed to help this nation. But rogue judges, democrats and traitorous republicans just hammer his every word or move, and a malicious media only speaks of him in bad ways, all the while covering up all the sins of the left, and never report on or represent what a majority of Americans want to see done. This nation is a disgrace.

Fair enough. I'm still not clear why you had to ask what Frederica Wilson should be condemned for.

    That's a disingenuous statement.

Wilson deliberately and dishonestly accused a Gold Star Father of leveling a racist remark at her when he never did so.

I'm talking about the hypocrisy of the people who are distorting Trump's remarks to a Gold Star family member while they refuse to condemn a woman who clearly slandered a Gold Star family member.

    Where's your condemnation?

Nope. I'm wondering why you and others are giving Wilson a pass for slandering a Gold Star Father.

Then again, to be truthful, I'm not really mystified at all...

Kelly is a veteran and the comments he made yesterday were made as someone who has spent most of his adult life in the military and as a Marine Corps general who has had the terrible responsibility of sending men into combat where they could wind up getting killed. He didn't get "feedback" from Frederica Wilson - he got defamed, and yes there is something you can do about it. Silence is consent.

I don't know what you are, but as I pointed out yesterday, if you're going to quack like a Democrat that's on you, not me.

When did Congresswoman Wilson slander a Gold Star family member? By saying that Kelly lied about some building? I don't even know what either one of them were talking about, which is why I haven't commented on it. He talked as a politician, and she went back at him as a politician. That's on both of them, not me. Politicians snipe at each other all the time.

No, there isn't anything I can do about it. Like I said, I don't even know what either of them were talking about. And it isn't for me to say two politicians shouldn't be sniping at each other. Kelly is a politician now. He knew what he was signing up for.

if she actually call him a racist, then she owes him an apology

but he lied about her as well and also owes her an apology, and needs to tell the truth, I am not sure why he even brought that stuff up, unluckily for him there was a video of it and it proved he was lying, he is better then this, Trumpism must be contagious

Ironic that it sounds like it was Kelly that was being the "Empty Barrel"

    *facepalm*

Good grief - how many times do we need to go over this? Look at the thread title...

    LOL - Whut?

Evidently, you're not a veteran so there's no reason I should waste any more of our time trying to explain this to you.

Silence is consent - good night, madame...

Yes, I saw the thread title. The Congresswoman (a politician) called another politician a racist. And? Is that the first time that's ever happened? She's free to say whats he wants. We're all free to disagree with her. I didn't call him a racist. He isn't a racist. He's a good and honorable man. I thought you were talking about her calling him a liar about some comments about a building. You didn't know about that either?

No, I'm not a veteran. What difference does that make? Kelly is a politician now. Do you call John McCain a "veteran", or is he a politician? Think carefully before you answer. You and I both know it's the second one.

It's true that Trump has put up with more than any other president there's ever been but I recall Trump being very very quick to respond childishly to slights even in the primaries.
He just doesn't take any criticism well. And, unfortunately we all know how it goes when people learn you will not take kindly to any insult.

I agree totally with you. Except for that last sentence --- it would not have mattered if "those people" knew it would get to him or not. They would have launched the very same onslaught anyway. Because they think they are so holy.

Trump's biggest weakness is he is very poor at articulating the greater wisdom in his positions. He is clumsy and simple-structured in his words, with too much bravado and not enough clarity.

Agreed. Much of the criticism would come anyway. I just don't believe in getting into peeing contests with morons you will never win over anyway. It's pointless.

I think you'd agree with me that there's a big difference between criticism and insults, especially insults based around lies. People can question his policies, his experience, or whatever, but libs came out in force with the racism, the homophobia, and all that stuff. They made vulgar videos, they accuse him of being a traitor, a Nazi, a misogynist, and a hater of everything except rich white people. Had anyone on the right done those things publicly to Obama he would have been torn to shreds.

I remember the horror, dismay and shock when Joe Wilson said two simple words (you lie) in Obama's presence.
You would have thought he had just dropped some kittens into a food blender.

You don't have to tell me about the massive, incredible double standard of the left.

Oh yea of convenient failed memory.

Do you recall Lyin' Donnie's years long Birther Crusade? Questioning the very legitimacy of Obama's presidency on a bunch of lies and bullcrap?

Naaaaaaaaaaa. Poor lyin' donnie he's getting it worse than other president because he is constantly blowing crap up with his lyin' bullyin' tweets in self defense after he yet again made a stupid blunder highlighting his unfitness to lead.
