Do you think users are being treated equally when it comes to what is considered “lying”. No one was banned for claiming Trump was a Russian spy. That’s a lie obviously or an opinion. No one was banned for claiming TRUMP is responsible for every Covid death either. An incredible lie, or let’s just say opinion. Now people were banned for the Hunter Biden email story which is NOT a lie. No less a lie than alleging Trump is a white supremacist or. Russian spy. But those tweets got a lot of people banned.

If you think all lies are being treated equally then YOU are the problem. Ignoring reality is the first step towards Totalitarianism.

 

I don't know. I don't sit as a moderator on any of those social media platforms. But, I'd say yes.

What claim on one of those platforms claimed trump was a Russian spy? Who made it? When?

If I say you are a Russian spy, do you think that post would get deleted here?

trump said countless things on those platforms that were outright lies and never even had them deleted.

If warnings go unheeded, then bans take place. No matter who they are.

But if you have any proof that those social sites have policies in place that says a D by one's name is not subject to the rules. Please post it.

 

Did Hillary get her account suspended when she said the election was stolen and that Trump was an illegitimate president? How about Farrakhan, or the "death to America/Israel" guy? They may not all have a D, but those silenced do have an R.

 

Remember and remind me of which mailboxes Trump personally had removed to prevent black people from voting. Remember that doozy that was pushed by Democrats? And no one was booted off Twitter for it? Every lie you claim Trump said theres a lie the MSM pushed about him. But he’s done. Not president anymore.

If anybody has a problem with any platform's TOS, then they are always free to move on or start their own.

News organizations have been doing that since the inception of reporting news.

They are in business to make money. And they can't allow their platform to plan killing. If they want to have the most customers as possible to make a good profit.

 

Good point, but people do not use the news to communicate with one another. There is no easy answer.

 

I agree 100% on this point, which I have been saying. Rules are fine, but you have to follow the rules, regardless of team colors.

 

They use social media. And agree to the terms of the platform they sign up for. Break the rules, get posts deleted. Keep breaking the rules after warnings, get banned.

There is a big bias towards liberals on most social media networks. That is obvious.

 

It's not that simple. We don't have the money to create our own platforms and conservative sites are under attack. We don't have as many places to hang out as you all do.
