Complaining in public places to government officials (even in their faces) about their actions is a right protected by the 1st Amendment. Overthrowing a democratically elected government is not.

Hutchinson's witness testimony, she was in the tent at the ellipse on the this point "take down the mags' he said. I don't think she would make that up, especially the vernacular, very secret service talk that Trump would be in on.

Anyway, on the broader points

Trump has told 75 million people a big lie and democrats stole the election. That's not okay.

Trump was worried that the secret service, using metal detectors, where not letting the ellipse rally arena to be filled out because many were armed, that he wanted the 'mags' taken down, those are the detectors. Hutchinson was a witness to this.

He wanted to go to the capitol and lead his flock, many of whom would have been armed, which would make them insurgents, not trespassers had the secret service complied with Trump's requests ( to remove the mags and to let him go to the capitol. No doubt they were following Cipollone's orders on these points, given that they were highly illegal and keeping the WH legal is his job ). We also know this from testimony given to Giuliani and an interview with Trump reported in the Post last April ( I dont have the links, I'll have to hunt for it) not to mention he clearly stated that desire to the audience at the ellipse.

he didn't care that they were chanting "hand mike pence'', and Meadows didn't think he could do anything about it. This was Witnessed by Hutchinson.

What Trump did, much of it illegal, in my lay opinion, is not okay.

Substantiating a claim is normally de rigueur and courtesy in debates.

No one should have to even request that you back up a claim, the onus is on you, not anyone else.
