Ron Paul supporters are very passionate about him :)roll:) so I'm just wondering who they will vote for in general election after someone else - not Ron Paul - becomes official nominee ?

The Republican Nominee or Obama or will they not vote?

You left a few options off the poll such as third party or write in. I still haven't figured out what I'll do after the primary is all done and over with but I sure know that I won't vote for one loser because he isn't the current loser. When people vote that way all you end up with is an endless series of losers.

Reason I left off Write in/other is because its same as "no vote" since it will not result in a winner.

It would if enough people wrote in the same person.

    Republican nominee.

If not Paul, Obama? That's cute.

I'll probably vote for whoever the Republican nominee is, though I'd much prefer Romney to Gingrich or Santorum. Maybe Romney can give Ron or Rand a cabinet position if he wins.

Did you see the interview of Paul with pierce or whatever that English person's name is? He asked Paul if he'd be willing to work with Romney if/when nominated and he kind of dodged the question but still left himself open to the idea, said he'd have to "talk to him" about it. But that is Romney's only hope. If he can't connect with Paul it's Perot 2.0. I don't even think Paul wants that at this point. There is too much at stake.

I think a lot of them will vote for the Libertarian party candidate.

All you Paul supporters refuse to punch in a selection. But this proves a point; A write in vote is a NON Vote. It will have NO EFFECT.

Neither, maybe I'll vote for whoever the libertarian party is running.

Again, a NON vote since it won't matter.

Paul has already said he wouldn't do that. He refused to rule it out 100% but the way he's been cozyin' up to Romney, I doubt he'd do that.

Of course if he did run as a third party cand. - like Perot did - Republicans would have a hard time winning. As bad as BO is, they still might win, but it would be much more difficult.

I would vote libertarian, though I may not vote at all. I wrestle with the idea that voting may be tacit acceptance of the system and whatever candidates wins a place in the system. Since I find the whole system corrupt and immoral, I am not so sure that my voting isn't as corrupt and immoral.

I can say with certainty, however, that I would never vote for the current crop of Democrats or Republicans for President.

They won't win. They have almost nothing to offer anyone that is different than what Obama offers. War, welfare, more government. Same policies, different name. They have nothing to offer those who voted for Obama in the hope of real change.

Statistically. No vote matters, for one it's statistically insignificant for two many states are winner take all, so unless you're the one voter who broke the tie then your vote didn't matter.

In either case, I refuse to endorse the Republicrats and their identical big government, anti-liberty, dependency breeding policies. You can be a sheep if you want and fall in line with the rest of the flock, but my principles come before partisan nonsense.

I don't think NEWT supporters are part of the flock of sheep... Romney supporters are tho. They buy into that BS as him being the most electable krapp.

(I'm a black sheep... I don't follow rest of flock as most Newt supporters don't.)

So what you're saying is that Newt supporters aren't part of the flock so they won't vote for the Republican nominee if it isn't Newt?

P.S. Black sheep are still sheep, just a different color. It would be better to be the dog. :D

    He supported NDAA and SOPA.

Might be a different color wool, but it's part of the same flock.

You should vote for a person because you agree with their policy positions. Not because you think they can win.
