You say you’re a person of science. But are you a math person as well ? Without math, our use of science in the political arena becomes stagnant and it negatively affects our world view. It’s hard to be a person of science without accepting math as the language of science. The two together make choices in politics more easily ( not easy) to defined.

We need to completely eliminate all fences and walls on both our southern and northern borders. Trump and his gop followers are much worse then any caravan coming up from the south, illegal Mexican working here or any one coming down from the north. By elimination the borders, we dilute the effects of the real crazies, the GOP.

Aside from having to get Congress to go along, the EU tariffs are 1,8% and ours are 1.7%. How much difference would it make?

Canada (1,5%) and Mexico (1.2%) have average tariffs lower than ours. What was Trump wanting from them?
