Oh I love to see that this thread that violates forum rules by insulting a group (flamebait) is still going.

Well since most Republicans have jobs and most welfare recipients are Democrats my guess is Republicans are way smarter than Democrats.

You're seriously giving Obama credit for the economy more than two years after he left office?

    Bit of a stretch.

Note that Obama was president for 96 months. Assuming a president is responsible for the economy beginning one year after he takes office and that his responsibility goes until 12 months after he leaves office it shows that President Obama took nearly a full year to get any kind of economic recovery going.

Like it or not, President Trump deserves credit for the good U.S. economy over the last 16 months.

Guess most posters ignore your threads as inane rants. I look at them though, I find them very entertaining in a slap stick comedy sort of way.

You sound like the typical Trump Derangement Syndrome victim. The county I live in has Mental Health Clinics that can help, bet yours does too.

What? Hillary’s not a pathological liar? Pick your poison, arsenic or cynide? Results are the same. And watching the Left rant rave, and rage, has it’s own reward.

Okay, tell me what she lied about. She even admitted that her private server was a serious mistake. After two to three years of investigation, the Republican House committee grudgingly concluded she had done nothing wrong. So, tell me, what has she lied about?

The markets are still optimistic. Because of that, Trump hasn't done too much damage ... yet.

CNBC reports, "A global stock market sell-off started to ease on Friday despite the U.S. fulfilling a promise to ramp up tariffs on Chinese goods.

"The U.S. hiked tariffs from 10% to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods at 12:01 a.m. ET Friday. In response, Beijing said it "deeply regrets" the tariff hike and would take countermeasures — though no specifics were provided.

"Markets across the globe initially fell overnight but were quick to bounce back and trade higher. In Asia, mainland Chinese stocks jumped with the Shanghai composite rising more than 3%. In Europe, the pan-European Stoxx 600 traded nearly 1% higher in early deals with the German DAX up by the same amount. Stateside, Dow futures initially slipped and pointed to nearly triple-digit losses at the open, but soon recovered.

"Uncertainty over trade talks will linger, but some analysts believe investors are still optimistic that the world's two-largest economies will avoid a full-blown trade war."

So far the incompetent President hasn't done too much damage mostly because he is ignored. Let's hope for the best and pray Trump has not started a decline in the two largest economies in the world, precipitating a global recession.

NBC News reports, "WASHINGTON — In a highly unusual move, national security adviser John Bolton convened a meeting at CIA headquarters last week with the Trump administration's top intelligence, diplomatic and military advisers to discuss Iran, according to six current U.S. officials.

"The meeting was held at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 29, and included CIA Director Gina Haspel, Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joe Dunford, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, five of the officials said.

"National security meetings are typically held in the White House Situation Room. The six current officials, as well as multiple former officials, said it is extremely rare for senior White House officials or Cabinet members to attend a meeting at CIA headquarters.

"The officials said the discussion was not about the intelligence that led to the decision in the following days to send a carrier strike group and bomber task force to the Middle East, but did not describe what the meeting covered."

"We have information you don't want to know about," Trump said.

The Times of Israel reported, "The Pentagon said Friday that the US will move a Patriot missile battery into the Middle East region to counter threats from Iran."

Information about possible Iranian plots against the U.S. or its allies in the Gulf were raised two weeks ago in talks held at the White House between an Israeli delegation headed by national security adviser Meir Ben Shabbat and a U.S. team led by John Bolton, who made the announcement Sunday.

Trump has done exactly what the Israeli delegation intended.

It is no secret that Israel wants more military involvement by the U.S. in the Middle East.

Beyond the Iranian threat to our forces in the Mideast that has existed for the past four decades, there is no specific threat to American troops. There is only the fact that Trump likes to make spectacular moves. In this case the movement of planes, ships, and missiles accomplishes two things. It is a distraction from his multiple problems at home, which includes a threat to our vibrant economy, and he is able to make Netanyahu and Jewish voters happy with an increased military presence in Israel's neighborhood.

There is one thing about Trump one can always be sure about. He is very transparent. Discretion is not a part of his vocabulary.

In this case, though, he is playing with fire. One wrong move by a local commander and this could blow up in his face.

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

It is a popular sport to pick on Hillary, but when it comes to specifics, there aren't any.

I'd make excuses, too, if I was partly responsible for Trump.

No, like you, they ignore them because they are reality and they, like you, can't defend their hero. You have proven that.

It was called the Great Recession for a reason, and it was global in its reach. The Great Depression lasted for 12 years, and it took WWII to recover from it.

Now tell me what Trump has done for great economy.

Currently he is threatening it with a 25% tariff on $200B worth of Chinese goods, giving rise to inflation and possible recession. How much has your family lost in retirement savings this week? Trump has already started the paperwork for a 25% tariff on another $325B.

US President Donald Trump began the process of ramping up tariffs on almost all of China's remaining imports after trade talks between the two countries ended on Friday

The move came less than a day after Washington hit Chinese imports to the US worth about $200 billion (€178 billion) annually. The new increase applies to an even greater value of goods – put at about $300 billion.

US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said in a statement that Trump had "ordered us to begin the process of raising tariffs on essentially all remaining imports from China."

Chinese and US representatives met in Washington over two days, ending on Friday, with plans for further talks to be held in China.

The last sentence is optimistic. No further talks are scheduled.

No doubt Putin is happy with Trump's performance.

Right, from the person who attacks Trump supporters in his thread title.

Trump's support comes from Republicans, Democrats and independents too.

    1) tax cuts
    2) reductions in regulatory burden

happy? Of course you're going to ignore these.
