Boy, does Biden sure know how to pick 'em. First Jackson can't/won't define what a woman is, now she saying the 14th Amendment's guarantee of equal protection and be bent, twisted and reshaped when race is a consideration.

Jackson, is without a doubt, and activist justice and that's why she was chosen. If we're going to take race into consideration when deciding what is and isn't constitutional, then which race get priority? BTW, someone on this board should inform the justice there are no races, maybe point her to the thread in this forum about it.

That's why she is not alone on the SCOTUS. But she is BRILLIANT. Her first court act of speaking on the 14th Amendment was pure genius.

Woke race activists are the biggest bunch of racists to exist in decades, but feel their social justice motivations alleviates them. It doesn't.

This kind of tracks with how leftist's view the constitution. The don't believe words have meanings, they believe the current thing defines the words, so her comments are typical lefty constitutional interpretation.

Duh. Brown was an equity hire for SCOTUS no less.

The Biden Administration: "Do we want judges who know about The Constitution? No. We want judges who want to pay back those who're disadvantaged."

Unfortunately- regardless of their position and success and the massive effort and extent that society has eliminated true racism, a good many of the most fortunate blacks still carry the racial chip on their shoulder. It's always a sub-current in their minds; they look for it, are determined to find something to stick that label on.... thus, many seem dedicated to keep racism alive- and profit from the benefits it now provides to them.

It took the nation quite awhile to purge racism among whites, but they chose to do that. Now... black people need to be purge it among their own. If they fail to do this, it will be resurrected by their own actions.

She's clearly committed to quotas and reparations.

Time to Outlaw Counting by Race?

'Inspired by Kamala Harris’s suggestion that government aid (taxpayer dollars) should be directed first of all to “communities of color.” To counter that racist idea, I suggest that we prohibit any entity or initiative that receives federal funds from collecting any data on race, sex, gender, ethnic origin, and the like.'

    Is anyone surprised at this?

We all knew what we were getting.

The liberal justices just pull the handle of the slot machine.

Perhaps they should be forbidden to discuss racism.

I do notice a lot of discussion about racism on this site. That indicates that many people think it is a problem. If racism didn't exist there would be no complaints here about what people of other races do.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread and ask our left leaning posters to defend KJB here.... She did, literally just contend that "It's a wonderful life" was a "depiction that could be limited for sale" to "only white people"... ?? WTF literally?

This cretin has a life long appointment to the SCOTUS. And she's fabricating straw men arguments about racism to beat the counsel asking for religious exemptions to a CO law forcing compelled speech? Is she really this stupid?

Direct quote: "“I want to do video depictions of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ and knowing that movie very well, I want to be authentic, and so only white children and families can be customers for that particular product. Everybody else… I will sell them anything they want, just not the ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ depictions,” Brown Jackson said to attorney Kristen Waggoner, CEO, President, and General Counsel of the Alliance Defending Freedom. “I‘m expressing something, right? … I can say anti-discrimination laws can’t make me sell ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ packages to non-white individuals.”

This is what liberals decided was necessary to sit on the SCOTUS? Laughable. She's a menace. And because she herself doesn't want to talk about LBGT issues, she deflects with open racism instead. So much for Joe's affirmative action hires....

So does anything think we needed the 14th amendment to protect the rights of white people?

You do realize what the 14th amendment was written in response to, right?
