Perhaps Iran is not as crazy as the Media wants us to believe. Russia and China do not seem to mind.

I have no idea what Iran has now but it will not be long before countries such as Iran have this technology .. especially smaller stuff like tactical nukes which will be marketed soon if not already.


The nature of Technology is to spread. It can not be contained for long.

The days of maintaining any kind of hegemony over the Middle east are numbered. Countries such as Syria have aquired too much advanced technology.. meaning that they could easily blow US warships out of the water.

Iraq and Libya were easy targets because of the arms embargo on both those countries for the past number of Decades.

Most other countries in the middle east could buy anything they wanted.

They never did find the nuclear material pilfered from the ex Russian nations such as Ukraine. It did not dissappear into thin air, it dissappeared into the hands of a middle eastern country.

There is at least more than one other country with "the bomb" than currently on the list and in all likelihood the US knows which one it is and it is definately a middle eastern country.

 

If Iran had nukes they would have announced they had nukes. They would have had a real reason to invade and they would have done it by now. I don't think that they have any nukes. It could be true and if it is it's a massive intelligence failure... would not be the first time. Regardless of this I believe what will be required to prevent Iran getting nukes will cause more suffering than allowing them to get them if that's what they even want to do. I remember people saying N. Korea would invade S. Korea and nuke Japan if they were allowed to get them but years later their crazy leader is dead and no one has been nuked. I also remember the whole Iraq fear mongering and it turned out they had no WMD ambitions at all. Recently I read this oil embargo would hurt European economies such as Greece and Spain. This could lead to a huge economic collapse and I'm far more worried about that and the suffering it would cause than yet another nation getting nukes if it's even true they want them.

Maybe you're right, but this is not the main point. He is anti-Israel in the surface but Israeli politicians use him a lot and what he says with his big mouth works perfectly well for them. This is what Iran does, peace is not in interest of Israel, because they don't want to get back to the previous borders, and Iran, Ahmadinejad's big mouth is giving them reasons for that.
