    Actually what stands out as blatantly "obvious" in your statement is the right's tendency to create conspiracy theories.

    Crimeny. These posts don't warrant any discussion. Most African-Americans have white ancestry. It was quite a common occurrence. Been with us since before Jefferson made it popular.

    But she is black, democrat and descendant of a slave owner, so now that's not really really bad? So let me get this straight, white slave owners bad, BLACK democrat slave owners good presidential/VP choices..     Just like Obama's childhood was heavily influenced by Marxist/Communist impressions, Kamala's father is a Marxist. Kamala's mom was proud of her Indian Brahman lineage. The Brahmans in the Indian caste system are the privileged-by-birth elites in India, analogous to America's economic class of "rich white men".

    So, yeah, neither Obama nor Kamala share the same heritage/lineage to African American people with a slave heritage, and whose lineage can be traced back as "early-American" blacks. They're both "recent immigrant" blacks, who never suffered "systemic racism".

    That may or may not make much difference in the outcome of the election, but it's certainly disingenuous for Kamala, with her elite-class Brahman lineage, to suggest she shares any common bond or empathy with the experiences of the majority of African Americans.

    I was raised in the Bay Area, have a really-really dark tan does that make me bonded with blacks too? Or do I need to have a slave owner somewhere in Italy or Slovenia to get there?
