Kamala Harris Shakes Head After Trump Calls for Stopping Drug Cartels, Human Trafficking

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) shook her head after President Donald Trump called for putting illegal drug cartels and human traffickers out of business at his State of the Union Address on Tuesday night.

President Trump had specifically called for the United States to commit to ending illegal immigration, as well as put coyotes, drug cartels, and human smugglers “out of business.” While others responded by standing and giving applause, Sen. Kamala Harris pursed her lips and shook her head in response to the president’s call to action.

Seriously? Is her gaining power more important to her followers than stopping the rape, murder, drug trade, and the safety of poor immigrant women?

The woman has to be totally out of touch with reality. Her guest at the SOTU was supposedly a white woman who's family was affected by the CA fires and by being temporarily out of work for 35 days. Sorry, but this person should have had home owners insurance.

The person was an Air Traffic Controller who is solidly middle class by any measure. The Pay scale for a beginning ATC is $125,000. Depending on experience and location differentials, an ATC can easily make $200,000 a year.

If this person was living pay check to pay check, she is not a good manager and probably should not be directing aircraft. I have no sympathy for her guest.

 

So did most of the other Democrats on that side of the aisle.

Actually no. I have been calling for a streamline of the process and increasing the numbers for years.

We almost have more legal immigrants each year than all the nations of the world combined. We should stomp on the illegal sort and simply make the process better. We should also put together guest worker programs for agriculture.
