Before you Trumpistani fans get woodies listening to Kanye you better check Kanye's lineage. Fetus Magae a former president of Botswana said that he thought that Kanye was his former third wife's love child by Flika Lamumba a now dead Botswanese rug merchant. The two had a child and named the poor little bastard Kanye after the town in Botswana were the two had their ongoing illicit affair and where Kanye was born. It will be difficult to pin down the veracity of the story because Felix Wawanaduppa the reporter from the Botswana Washwagaton Times who broke the story said that he had personnaly known Flika Lamumba , Kanye's alleged father but he added though though Flika was a well known sperm donor Flika was known to lie like a Botswanese rug.

The Biden camp has announced that they hired Trump's former Truther Squad investigators Agents Yinko and Tango who were fired by Jared Kushniersky Donnie's Russian born son in law and are now homeless in Hawaii after their failure to dig up Obama's Kenyan birth certificate. Agents Yinko and Tango said that they will proove beyond the shadow of doubt of an African Fire ant hill that Kanye was born in Botswana.

After making a comment about Trump's orange hued skin, a poster called me racist as if his orange color was actually a racial characteristic. It doesn't get more ignorant than that.

Not surprising. The word, itself, has lost it's true meaning. I have tried to point out that racism is a FORM of discrimination but not all forms of discrimination are racist. I've thrown in the towel from those silly days of my youth. LOL

Read post #82 if you actually want to learn what this is about. Falsely accuse me of racism again and you go on ignore. Your false accusation has been corrected multiple times; you've run out of excuses.

It's been watered down to the point where disagreeing with someone is racist now, or not getting your way must be because of racism. I've gotten tired of the race card being played at school that I decided one day to use my own race(s) and throw it back at them in such a way that they must be racist against me for acting up. A couple years ago I had two kids in particular - one was an Indian girl and one of my best students, the other was a black kid who was not. Neither was anywhere near white. I loaned the girl some of my personal art tools for a project. The boy asked for them too and I said no - he had a habit of taking things that didn't belong to him and hoarding them. His response? "It's because I'm black!"

I just lost my patience with this kid and said hey, I'm not white - you must be racist against MY races (I'm a mutt) for misbehaving in class and accused him of being racist against me. I then sent him out of my room and told him not to come back until he was ready to apologize for being racist. The kid had this deer in the headlights look; no one had ever thrown the race card back in his face. I explained to him later on that he was upset because I had done exactly what he himself had done to myself (and other teachers), that he got upset when I used his exact words and then asked if he understood what he had been doing. Nope - it went completely over his head.

I mean, I'm just old enough to remember the segregated bathrooms and water-fountains existing. I've seen real racism, real institutionalized racism. There's times I'd love to have a magic time machine viewscreen, set it to 1850 and have the kids see for themselves what actual racism, what actual oppression and actual institutionalized racism really is. As opposed to not getting the good colored pencils because you stole everyone else's kinda racism.

I have been in similar situations and it's frustrating to say the least. I absolutely believe that institutionalized racism and system racism still exist. But, and this is important, we have made some strides. It's going to take a ton of work but both sides need to calm down and just communicate.

That was funny! Lol fair enough but he has much better stuff. I play this one on repeat for daily inspiration. Kanye was once a student at HU (my first alma mater called the black Harvard). He took his Sunday service to our old campus, recently, and it was magic.

At least Biden doesn't profit from the Saudis when they stay there...

Actually, this might be a really good time for Biden to start investing... he can quadruple his money in 4 years...

Is using the term "colored pencils" going to get you a racist demerit ?.
I once had someone here on this august forum call me racist because I used the 1950's term "colored people".

I grew up in a smallish medium city up North but we had our own form of segregation. We had Blacks in the city but my part of town our high school had very few. My graduating class had two Black kids twins boy and girl. All of the Blacks lived on one street in our part of town due to red lining of the 1950's. I actually witnessed the girl Black student being called a N........ because she accidently bumped into a White student. None of us said anything to the kid who called her that and that was personnaly shameful for me. I and others should have stood up to that.

Not yet but I did have a black kid raise a bit of a ruckus because he noticed that one one of the colored pencils it said "Negro". The Hispanic kids laughed at him and said "It just means it's a black colored pencil! Negro means black en espanol!" Perhaps Supabadbrother could shed some light on whether the term "colored pencils" is racist or not. I do know that the term "Black Hole" is racist:

Our school has (at least outwardly) moved past the race fighting that were much bigger about four-ish years ago but I'm not sure if it's because everyone realized how idiotic it was or because the black kids realized the Hispanics outnumbered then 2.5 to 1

I myself - in some ways I think he's this generation's version of Van Gogh in that he's an artistic genius trapped within a body that suffers from mental illness that he's unable to control. I'm not sure about his ideas regarding Minimalism - I think he may be ahead of his time there. Dunno if you've seen the interiors of his house - he's thinking on an entirely different level than the rest of us, and he wasn't having an attack at the time, or he was on his meds.

He's definitely got an artistic mentality.

Yup no one ever told him he couldn't do what he wanted.

So he wandered off the democrat vote plantation and became a successful artist and businessman.

Now he's worth over 1.3 billion.

    He didn't "rail" on Tubman.

He said she took black slaves out of the south and delivered them to different whites in the north who they had to work for.

His point was about blacks working for whites, voluntarily or involuntarily.

    Good for him.

He conned enough people into spending money on his Artistic Scam to get wealthy in a Capitalist Society.

That said, he has ZERO Qualifications to be anything more than an Embarrassing JOKE in Politics.

Well, it would solve a dilemma for a lot of black democrats who don't like Trump but are sick of the way the democrats treat them. it would be more of a protest vote that would help Trump.

    He's a visionary and a populist.

I thought he was nuts kicking off a gospel revival at the LA forum. He did it and it blew up.

Then he brought that gospel revival to the Coachella music festival-it blew up.
