    Maybe it is about more than selling his music or clothes. Some people get passionate like that. Maybe he cares more about empowering black voters, and getting his opinion heard, than he cares about clothing sales. Imagine that.

    A look at most inner cities confirms this.

    That he's talking to people who have no intention of buying his records shows he's genuine.

    Conservatism is certainly lacking strong black leadership and if Kanye plays his cards right he could fit right into that role.

    Took a lot of guts to stand up to the establishment and I can respect that.

    But how did I know that we would eventually see a Kardashian in the WH?

    Do you remember when I asked you if you ever found yourself going with the herd and wondering why?

    And you just kind of dropped off the face of the planet with regard to that discussion.

    I think it's because you understand what the question is asking.

    I don't think you're stupid I just think you're being duped. It's hard to admit when you are because that means you have to admit that you were wrong. But swallowing your pride for the microsecond it takes to realize maybe you're backing the wrong horse is it worth the 30 seconds of humiliation you may feel.

    That's just what you're doing ... imagining that Kanye's rants empower anyone. They don't even empower him, unless his goal is to get attention whether positive or negative. Name one person who changed their vote because of Kanye's tweets and outbursts.

    Kanye is a provocature. I wouldn't consider him right wing considering his criticism of George Bush. But we did see people freaking out and disowning their children for voting for Trump. So maybe Kanye West is doing what he's doing and saying what he's saying because they're idiots that take politics way too seriously.



    When you are a prominent public figure such as a celebrity there is no such thing as negative attention if you know how to react to it and I believe Kanye West is an expert at knowing how to react to it.
