First of all, shirts and shoes are normal attire. Face masks are not. Masks obstruct breathing, become filthy after repeated use, and are generally not effective at preventing the spread of viruses.

Secondly, businesses are not adopting these standards voluntarily. Instead, they are being forced to do so by government ordinances and mandates. Why you and other proponents of the disastrous lockdowns keep pretending that this is all voluntary, only God knows.

Lastly, if wearing a mask is so virtuous and so easy, then why did you only wear one after authority figures demanded it of you?

I don't know where you live, but I can go anywhere I want with or without a mask. I live in Las Vegas with a Democrat Governor running the State.
