What would the Religious Right do? Abandon the GOP? Still their home for "overturning Roe". Plus most of the RR leadership know that a split GOP means easy Democratic victories...and even scraps from the table are better than starvation (politically).

 

We live in particularly interesting times (or we find what is going on to be rather interesting).

 

At some point, the GOP will figure out that it does them no harm to abandon the bigots...since the bigots certainly aren't delivering them elections like they USED to.

 

Yes. That sums their reality up very nicely.
