    Putting aside the fact we all know this was an assassination attempt like the one when Boebert was texting Pelosi's location to J6 rioters...this article made me LOL bigly.

    Why?

    Because Rs are claiming that this was a gay lovers' spat and not a hit on Madame Speaker.

    So, rolling with that lie, how can they wiggle out of this direct support for a degenerate gay man? Or, maybe, it's cool now that they've glossed over Orange Cancer kissing males with reckless abandon constantly.

    Spoiler alert: Cue next ridiculous lie. The new conspiracy won't include gay lovers given the Kirk's statement.

    It was not an assassination attempt according to the FBI's affidavit. He wanted Nancy Pelosi to go back to congress with broken knees.

    RW chatter suggest Pelosi got what he deserved. Violence and threats thereof have become the new Republican playbook. Google banned Truth Social app for this very reason.

    Absolutely. I'm not rooting for the perp. I do believe the perp should get the same treatment as any other perp who committed the same type of crime in SF. If so he should be back out on the street soon.

    I glanced through your prior posts and didn't see any condemnation of the attack or sympathy for Pelosi. If you could give me an idea where you posted it, I'd love to see it.

    Why should he need bailing out? He has a long violent criminal history in California, including elder abuse, and hasn't needed bailing out thus far. In Texas, he would have been shot in the face, which is better than he deserves.

    Actually David Papape's assault on Paul Pelosi is in line with MANY! other criminals that have violently attacked people in California and been released almost immediately with low bail or hardly serve any time in prison. Why should he be treated more stringently.

    I did not hear her say that. Did you read the affidavit? The police didn't mention anyone by name but DePape said Paul answered the door. The affidavit also said Paul greeted the police.
