I'm not going to pretend money paid to illegal immigrants isn't a problem - but the FBI reports about $1 billion in Medicare and Medicaid fraudulent billings from American companies for JUST wheelchairs every year ... I think there is far too much emphasis placed on the illegals front and far too little on the boys with briefcases. Florida's governor ran a company that was fined nearly $400 million for Medicaid and Medicare irregularities. Doubt too many individual illegals could match that number.

Again - I think illegals are living rent free in the minds of too many conservatives on these boards.

A while back I created a thread in the Political Beliefs sections asking the question What Good Is Diversity? That thread had about 300 posts and other than the food, there were no intelligent responses.

When an area has too many whites that area is considered non diverse. When they move out they're racist. And if they move into a so called 'diverse' area then they're gentrifying it which is also racist.

Sorry. Diversity means less white males. If you can't see it, take your head out of the sand. No one says the NBA needs diversity. Care to guess why? Because a diverse NBA would include A LOT more white people and being diverse doesn't mean adding white people to minority dominated industries. The NFL said we need more diverse head coaches, more diverse QBs. The NEVER say we need more diverse running backs or Defensive Backs. Care to guess why? Who dominates certain positions historically? There are no plans to fix the black dominated positions...only the white dominated positions.

The video game industry was accused of needing more diversity. The special effects and post production industry have similar demographics as well. What does more diversity mean? More females. Its a BIG deal. Same as the tech industry. Not enough female coders & CEOs. Remind me who stopped women from being computer geeks or starting tech companies and becoming their own CEOs like all the guys did? NOTHING stopped them, besides basic numbers. There are a lot more guys doing it and the guys are generally BETTER at all of it. Has Education, specially k-12, ever tried to tackle the problem of not enough male teachers? Oh, people have mentioned it, but there is no plan to really "fix" it, because its not really seen as a problem, beside maybe in the inner city where there is a lack of male role models. Who complains about too many female nurses?
