Obama will win because none of the Repub nominees is good enough. They are all crap. If Romney wins Obama might have a fight on his hands, but if Santorum wins, its game over.

A few months ago I thought Obama had a 50/50 chance at winning. Now that I have seen how the GOP is handling the process and the caliber of opponents they have brought to the table I'm giving Obama a 70/30 chance at winning.

A FOX news poll had a an interesting statistic on Hispanic voters and I think the high total any GOP got was like 17%. If they cant get it close to 40% they are doomed.

I don't know if it is or not. But is is the most conservative current estimate of where Obama stands. I could have used NBC's recent poll that puts Obama nearly 20 points ahead of all the candidates. But I wanted to avoid all the "This poll is liberally biased" arguments. Besides. NBC is liberally biased. And Rasmussen is conservative biased. Which is all the more reason for conservatives to be afraid. I suspect actual numbers are somewhere between NBC's and Rasmussen estimates myself. But I have no evidence of that.

This really is a useless stat.

Only three presidents in the last 110 years have lost reelection.

Taft: with T roosevelt running as a third party candidate.
    Hoover: the great depression
    Carter: Iran Hostage

Meanwhile FDR won re-election twice with an unemployment rate of over 15%.

    AND

Reagan won re-election with an unemployment rate of 7.4%.

Until Romney squares off against Obama one on one the campaign hasn't even started yet, for all intents and purposes. Reagan trailed Carter by 18 percentage points in March of 1980 (and we all know what happened then, right?). This is premature speculation so be careful you don't shoot your wad too soon. It'll get all over you.

AGain, under Reagan UE was on its way down dramatically and the nation was going in the right direction.

FDR, he created the welfare state and there was this little thing called WW2 goingon.

I believe the quote goes "you can have your own opinions but not your own facts."

The claim was made that "no president had been reelected with an unemployment rate over 7%."

I merely proved that the claim was factually incorrect.

Clearly you are not capable of understand the positions of the opposition. Which means you're not making informed decisions this election. I suggest you do more research. Because all of those things Obama (And most every democrat) is against.
