Glenn Greenwald can't get his information on Hunter Biden published by the very leftist media outlets that up to this point have doted on the man. Why? Because they are pushing Joe Biden to be president; and it's just that simple. The Intercept which he co-founded is who he is accusing of censoring him, evidently because the two others he founded it with asked him for evidence or proof of allegations he was making in an article he wrote. Without some type of factual proof they did not want to publish his article, he either could not or would not supply any.
Greenwald is to the left in our political pantheon but he is neither an ideologue nor a propagandist. Leftists dismissing him miss the larger story. He's probably one of only a handful of honest left-wing journalists out there. It's so rare he's actually worth reading, if only to measure beliefs against his cogent presentations.
I am shocked -- shocked I say! -- that it appears that (apparently) our Dem Party loyalist posters have chosen to keep gulping down the old party propaganda approved Kool-Aid. Now who whould ever have guessed that?! So Greenwald is trusty ONLY when he's publishing things that give the collective Right a bruised eyesocket? Interesting . . . .
Glenn Greenwald is an actual journalist. He has journalistic integrity. He is a liberal who founded The Intercept, the very organization that is denying him the right to freedom of the press. This is a crack in the wall. He and several others are beginning to break for they are not willing to put their reputations on the line for a corrupt left wing media. Actually it wasn't talked about much at the time, but I figure that huge numbers of Marxism inclined college professors went into mourning when the old Soviet Union collapsed and then into fits of rage when Communist China finally admitted that they HAD to incorporate vast chunks of capitalism philosophy and principles into their economics system in order to keep their nation both operational and competitive in nature. What I am saying is that vast sections of the political Left in this nation admire the old ways of both the Soviet Union and Communist China when it came down to dealing with their own people.
I wonder if we will see more journalists coming out soon. How many people out there can lie to selves so much and not quietly see their own wrongdoing?
The Left . . . which includes the upper level media hierarchy, will punish or destroy any journalist bucking the DNC's preferred narrative. So it's a question of ethics versus career survival and one can argue that if the average journalist had any use for ethics then he or she would NEVER have become a journalist in an industry that now exists for the political benefit of the Democratic Party and its corrupt leadership.
It happened to me once. It was a solid piece, factually correct, and well sourced. The Advisor to the paper took it to the the relevant Dean who told him to kill the piece because it reflected badly on the administration and that was that. It wasn't even about some controversial topic really. It was about the refusal of the school to make several repairs that were worsening despite multiple requests, often involving growing mold problems. I quit my college newspaper as a result. I also used social media to create enough attention to the maintenance issues that they had to address them anyway and people on campus started sharing their own experiences with on-going leaks, etc.
