Leftist Pols, Activists, Media Use 2014 Detention Photos to Attack Trump on Immigration

In one of the more bizarre self-awareness fails ever, leftist activists and politicians have taken to Twitter to denounce conditions unaccompanied illegal-immigrant minors face at federal detention centers. They're contending that the photos involved reflect conditions existing now during President Donald Trump's administration.

There's one "little" problem: The photos involved are from a 2014 Arizona Republic story, i.e., they're from the Obama era. Even an item published Friday at the Washington Post uses two of those 2014 photos. It's a fake news feast.

This epic snafu's beginning isn't clear, but we do know that one of the gullible early adopters was former Baracxk Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau, who has since deleted the following Sunday afternoon tweet (HT Hot Air):

Favreau's tweet linked to a series of photos at AZcentral.com, the Arizona Republic's website. That site's URL clearly flags it as having been published on June 18, 2014:

Those hoping there might an end to all of this nonsense will not be encouraged by the following "2018 photo" posted by "a social media news company" of a bus whose seats are all designed to carry infants and toddlers:

Does anyone recall the vociferous outrage on the part of PSM Left and MSM when these conditions were actually documented during the Golden Age of Obama in 2014 and 2016? Great illustration of the moronic double standards of the MSM.
This stage documents the complete unethical lack of standards of the hypocritical Left. The totally infiltrated biased MSM has completed walked away from even trying to pretend to be objective.
More exposure of Leftist Twits who Twitter before checking the calendar and facts. You'd think that with all the Apples, Androids and Internet news sites they'd be able to verify what they are complaining about before hitting the send key.
In the 1920s and 1930s there were comedians named the Keystone Cops who played incompetent mistake prone crime fighters. Today, we have incompetent liberal commentators who should be named 'The Keystroke Kops' who are too quick on the finger on their smartphones before engaging their brains.

The motto of biased journ0lists seems to be a vicious parody of the bandit's sneering in the movie "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" ---- "Facts? We don't need no stinking facts."
In the end the Progressive Leftist defense remains: They make Trump look bad so what's the problem?

Do anyone know if this picture is showing some sort of temporary holding cell where they are placed on the day that they are caught? Surely this can't be where these kids stay for multiple days, sleeping on those pillowless mats!
