You're right that there are crazies everywhere and Roof is one of them. What we cannot do is look the other way when laws are broken if the perpetrators are in the same political camp or more enthusiastic about following the law f they aren't.. Both instances have been recurring in recent years, discourage respect for the law, and are bad for the country.

It looks like the protesters were not blocking traffic. If protesters are blocking a public thoroughfare I don't slow down to see what they are about, I simply plow through them, never touch the brakes.
