The Democrats have lived by the sword of radicalism, embracing every last crazy idea of the extreme left and incorporating it into their agenda, and may they electorally die by that sword in 2020.

Democrats used to tack to the center during general election season, knowing America has been a center-right nation. But since Obama’s presidency, they’ve begun playing their left hand more openly. In the bluest of areas, they can afford to reveal their outright socialism, which explains Ocasio-Cortez’s unapologetically socialist campaign message. They used to move to the center for general elections until Obama. It seems there may be a chasm opening up between the democrat hard left base and its wealthy wall st banker/tech establishment. The GOP could benefit from such a rift in 2020.

 

It will be interesting to watch the fissures developing in the democrat party now that they control a house of congress.

 

As things stand today with the economy and Trump's other successes it is pretty much a given that he will win re-election in 2020; and perhaps even that the Right will win back some of those lost House of Representative seats. But in way, none of that matters, because eventually the radical leftist Dems are going to win total control of this nation for the simple reasons that they control the loyalty of the bulk of the media outlets and control almost the entire educational process in this nation.

That plus they have flooded this nation will illegal immigrants and have promised them Free Stuff for Life and in more and more places they are allowing them to vote in local elections. So the collapse of this nation is eventually guaranteed. Our future? We will eventually become a remake of the Soviet Union.

In a way today's Dem Party loyalists and ideological Kool-Aid drinkers are condemning their decedents to hell on Earth while thinking that they are issuing them the keys to heaven. They point-blank refuse to learn the correct things from history; and so . . . it . . . goes.

Yep, and although it was made deadlier than it otherwise would have been by Governor Moon Beam siding with the radical 'know nothing' environmentalists who were against preventative burns and brush clearing it is going to end up being blamed on Trump for having the audacity to point out WHY California has suffered so much; and it will stick because the Left controls nine-tenths of the nation's media outlets. But that's just the tip of the iceberg in regards to one event.

The Left will eventually win because they have no limits and no use for the concepts of honor or integrity and because they hate this nation -- what it is today -- and thus they intend to destroy it -- as it is today -- and as we all know it is always much MUCH easier to attack and destroy a system from within than it is to preserve, nurture, and grow that system. Ideologically the Left is an emotionally driven non-thinking pathogen systematically attacking this nation's heart and soul . . . and they will win.

I know this because I have studied history and see what is happening now has happened in the past along similar lines. I write about it so that as it is happening before my very eyes it fails to take me by surprise. I tend to laugh about it because all things must come to an end and it is just a misfortune of timing that I should be witness to the gradual ending of the greatest nation in the history of humanity. I laugh about it because I cannot stop it and because mourning and being filled with angst and agony won't prevent its inevitable occurrence. The mindless Left is going to destroy this nation, and now it is just a matter of time.

 

I think Trump is on the right track though by circumventing the lying liberal media. They are the real problem here.

Dems didn't win the majority of the House as much as republicans RETIRED and gave up their seats for an easier take over. Their primaries should have also told them the socialists aren't widely accepted. Dems still have to exhibit rational dealing in the House and the irrationality has already begun.

Nancy Pelosi is battling to take the speaker position even though she was the reason dems lost the House. But dems are brainwashed into thinking moving further left is where the dem party needs to go. They forget that the PEOPLE attacked dems during Town Hall meetings in 2010 for passing Obamacare.

Things are going to crash down on them AGAIN, but this time, Trump will be the president. Hopefully, a few more liberal media sources will go out of business as well.

There were or are several factions of the Tea Party, but all were grass roots without a lot of funding so they have faded from the prominence they had in 2010. They're still around.

The internecine bickering between the party factions is no different to what happened to the GOP when the extremists on the far right took control via the primary process.

The GOP did not implode and it managed to actually gain more power during this period of activism.

Why should it be any different for the Dems now?

The Democratic Party have regained around 40% of their Obama era losses nationwide between the 2017 and 2018 elections.

They are probably strong enough to double that to 80% in 2020.

 

Nancy Pelosi is battling to regain the speaker position, yet she is one of the main reasons she lost the HOUSE in 2010.

Dems are potentially going to put the same old leadership back in place.

OTOH, (R)s have changed and evolved. Boehner is out. McCain is out. Flake and Corker are out among others. Something like 40 republicans RETIRED in the house giving up the seats for an easy takeover by dems.

THAT is reality that dems are ignoring.

There are that many missing and sadly that’s possible. That could have happened where I live in July but the fire turned north and south at the western outskirts of the city instead of continuing east and we had more time warning and more ways out. As it was we lost 1200 homes and 7 lives and 250k acres. The Camp fire in structures and human life is far worse even than the Carr fire.

 

Republicans are responding to their base and more conservative and less establishment while Dems are more left than ever with a few fake moderates in usually red areas where some retirements happened.

Yep the dems didn't win, the republicans removed themselves from the field. Whatever makes you sleep better at night, I guess.

 

If you keep ignoring REALITY, then you will be disappointed in future elections. Moving to the left has been destroying the dem party SINCE 2010. Nancy Pelosi was never a moderate but that's what she wants you to believe, and a moderate is what dems should confirm to the House to stay in power.

Between 2010 and 2016, dems lost well over 1000+ seats across the board at local, state, and federal levels of power. The lying liberal media never told you that because they have an agenda of moving the U.S. toward the left.

The Democrats showed their hand in the mid-term elections. They went to the center, ran a lot of women candidates, focused on white working class voters and ignored Trump. One would have to say it worked. The upcoming debate about going to the center or left in the Democratic caucus is where the Pelosi leadership comes into play. The Dems will stay in the center - that's their base now.
