This seems trivial, boosts commerce and the living standards of local people. Russia is now building the world's longest railroad through the Taiga to connect the US Berring Strait to the Siberian railroad system, and start moving goods between the USA, Russa, and China over land, to compete with shipping.

Do I sound stupid then to ask: where will the animals go now? The primary factor for wildlife death is roadkill. Is there even a point to express that we humans, the virus of planet Earth are taking over some more? The more advanced we are, the more pressure we excert against our environment.

It is interesting that when 2 Siberian tigers must kill one of themselves for hunting ground because the other tiger just lost his to the railroad, we don't realize that we will have to do the same to each other after everything is done. Even human history, such as the Easter Islands won't teach us. Wouldn't it be interesting to study, what kind of a machine humanity as a whole is? Or maybe this is already well studied, for the circles who pay for it, to control us better? (So we will never get to know it.) What's your take?
