Let's discuss the Islamic conquest of Mars We all know that no matter what we do some Muslims will act on Mohammed's commands that Sharia law be applied to all of humanity. And we know that all Muslims who are following the Islamic trilogy (Koran, Sira & Hadith) agree that Sharia law is to be so applied. So, should Muslims be allowed to help settle Mars? And if not, we can be sure that private commercial flights to Mars will some day become a reality. At what point would Muslims try to conquer Mars? How would they go about it? It wouldn't make sense for them to do it in the beginning of manned colonization of the Red planet because they wouldn't have enough strength in numbers to maintain their supremacy. So, when WOULD they start the violent conquest? The first Muslims would surely have to be in stealth mode as many Muslims are today in America. Then once their numbers reached the 2% mark they could start their demands. Would they be able to use the Dr. Peter Hammond model in the American Thinker article, "The Five Stages of Islam"? Would they want to use that model? Let's think about the possibilities of Muslims conquering Mars now before the first manned flight.
They will suicide bomb the oxygen plant, then there'll be no life left in the colony, but that's okay with the fanatics because they think they are going to paradise anyway.
If they figure out how to restore Mars' magnetism they can just claim the planet as their own. Mars will only be able to hold an atmosphere if it's magnetism is restored as otherwise there are no Van Allen Belts to keep the Sun from tearing it away, that's why Mars lost its atmosphere in the first place according to most theories now. Is it just me or does Pregnar seem a little obsessed?
Yes, PK is absolutely obsessed with Muslims. His post is full of half truths, shining a light on the worst aspects of the followers of Islam. But, I don't think we'll have solved the problem of terrorism in 15-30 years, when we can fly to and from Mars. I could be wrong.
Okay. Well, let's think about banning Muslims from going to Mars unless they take and sign a disavowal of Islam. Would that be okay with you two?
No, not by me. The world has sent several plaques into Space and made several treaties saying we will not carry our hatreds to the Heavens. You might ask a Muslim to share those feelings but I don't see why he has to disavow his faith. Your mentor notwithstanding ANY religion can be seen as a blueprint and command for world conquest, but only a vanishingly tiny minority of the followers of any religion actually believe so nowadays btw, is this whole business with you, Islam and that old guy a sort of elaborate satire? I'm really stupid about picking up on that kind of thing.
Your post, in light of your well established pro-Islam posting history, suggests you favor a deep stealth approach until there are sufficient numbers to be able to consolidate the Jihad on Mars. The Five Stages of Islam would apply on Mars, too, I suppose.
