There are issues for parents with trans kids who are taking the hormones. My niece is concerned that if her transexual daughter gets sick while they are on vacation in Florida, she will be denied the drugs for her. Now they are talking about never coming to Florida again.

 

When states start trying to say they are a danger to children just because they are near one and that medical professionals do not have to treat them if they do not want to then it isn’t paranoia

I have never stated anyone should be denied medical care. The laws in Florida are designed to protects children from making tragic mistakes they'll regret later in life. Children are not mature enough to make life altering decisions about their bodies. If people do not like that find another place to live.

such drama. for every one that "hates" there are thousands who really don't give a damn one way or the other (there will always be outliers). are we supposed to care? then y'all start whining about a supposed "war" on transgenders. if i thought i was a horse wouldn't you wonder about my ability to make rational decisions? well, believing that you are the opposite sex than you were born to isn't too far from that. the only target of this "war" is the normalization of what can only be described as a mental/emotional disturbance and the effect that normalization will have on the most impressionable segment of our society. this is a "war" that was started long ago by those who want to see their wildest delusions accepted as a perfectly normal part of the human condition. the war on homosexuality is long over, but the search for new frontiers of victimhood has now attached the mentally/emotionally disturbed to the "cause" and further inflamed what should be a settled difference. what we see now is the long awaited backlash to the slippery slope of demented cause-heads. winning one battle, they seek to take capitalize on their illusory advantage.
