So, what we can gather is:

    - Many people didn't show up.
    - Trump told "his people" to do less testing, to make himself look better
    - Trump and his idiot campaign manager got trolled by people who bought tickets who never planned on going in the first place.
    - These rallies are excellent material for the Biden campaign. If Trump loses, he will have did himself in.

LOL, Trump's "policies" are whatever the hell the establishment GOP tells him to do. In terms of how he's governed, he's another run of the mil GOP president.

Of course, you'd be supporting any idiot the GOP tells you to support, cause "DA LIBS!".

I would have voted for John Kasich had the GOP base nominated him in 2016.

You can assume that if you're a racist, or maybe you think like Joe Biden that black Trump supporters aren't really black.

As far as I know, no American Trump supporter gets paid to attend his rallies.

I expected a lower turnout. Parking in DT tulsa is atrocious anyway and they made a wide swath of the area off limits for security reasons. Then...we noticed about 6PM every entrance to downtown was blocked by police cars. If some one wanted to come a couple of hours early it would have been hard to k ow how to get in.

    45* rallies for everyone?
Does that include the people he has called scum, traitor, openly mocked, identified as the enemy of the people or wanted to be killed or assaulted by police or his supporters?

John Kasich was a center-left Republican who was closer to Bill Clinton than anything else, unfortunately for him two things hurt him: His not so successful governorship(as the state was mired in debt) as well as his website being utterly simplistic to the point where it wasn't drawing attention, and he didn't have the bombast of Trump to make up for that.

As far as 2016 goes for me, I originally started off with Rand Paul. Then, I saw Marco Rubio as the bright shining star of the Republican Party. A mix of traditional conservatism, while being to the left on social welfare, more than any Republican since Eisenhower. He would've beaten Hillary in a mondale-style landslide with wide ranging appeal.

Unfortunately, the tide was not for a traditional politician, even one that would've been a vast upgrade over the incumbent administration. The tide was for something different, a truly civilian government and that's where Trump had the edge despite his inarguably many shortcomings.

Thing is though, I don't think that tide will ever go away even with the "stench" of Trump. If Andrew Yang had won the democratic nomination, there would've been some very interesting discussions(and Trump wouldn't have stood a chance.)

Because my voter card didn't come on time, I couldn't vote but the Access Hollywood tape was a game changer for me and I decided to back neither one, I likely would've voted for Evan McMillian, the CIA-affiliated Nationalist, who pretty much ran a Nationalist platform to say "Hey, if you want Nationalism without the crass I'm your guy." But like all third candidacies, he wasn't able to get the support.

What gave you the impression I was 'whining'? I happen to agree with the schedule change.

The security unfortunately made necessary by the violent mobs that have been perpetuated because somehow hurting other Americans will either lead to justice or some necromancy revival of the dead. I suspect they'll adjust, they have five months to do so.

However, the look probably isn't going to go over well with some independents, and it will actually play a bit in the hands of the 'war monger' President(despite not doing much war mongering at all in his entire presidency.). If Biden plays his cards right, maybe he can win from his basement but that's a bad taste for all of us.

So where are the reports of widespread traffic jams of frustrated rally goers trying to get downtown?

I don't buy that Yang would have beaten Trump. He could hardly muster support in the primaries.

People are tired of Trump's antics. Yes Republicans worship him, but his support outside of that is minuscule. His "outsider" gimmick has worn thin.

John Huntsman was another Republican I liked. Easily the most intelligent Republican presidential candidate to run in years. But apparently a loud mouth Reality T.V. Star and his gimmicky campaign and race baiting was what the GOP voters wanted as a response to Obama.

You wanted 'Fat Dracula' for potus?

I somewhat kid... Cruz has an impeccible voting record as far as supporting individual liberty and the intent of the constitution goes, and that is praiseworthy. But I don't think he has the charisma to be a successful POTUS (and yes, I think its a national failure that we need charisma in a successful POTUS... but we do).

I really like Rand. But I don't think he has what it takes to 'lead' us either. These types of folks will make great POTUSes if/when we can get away from needing leaders...
